The sacred dances are a form of active meditation, designed to progressively take us beyond our normal 'self' and access a deeper quality of our being : our Essence.
Each dance, combined with music composed specifically for this purpose, carries a specific frequency that resonates in the body, mind and heart. Some dances are fast and full of fire, some are soft and flowing, and others are prayerful and quiet. Each dance invites us to experience a different quality, a different side in ourselves. Each dance offers a different way of Being.

The Gurdjieff path is a complete system, with dances, philosophy, cosmology, and various meditations. As we practice, we experience ourselves as we really are. Directly, immediately, without judgement, simply seeing: this is me, this is who I am, right now. And by seeing ourselves, we gradually step towards what we wish to be.
