"Chondromalacia: Understanding Knee Pain"

Chondromalacia occurs when the cartilage under the kneecap (patella) deteriorates. Common symptoms include knee pain, especially when climbing stairs or sitting for long periods.

Causes and Contributing Factors Overuse or repetitive stress on the knee joint in an incorrect position.

Muscle imbalances around the knee.

Poor biomechanics and posture during activities.

How to Alleviate Pain? Avoid high-impact activities.

Strengthen quadriceps and hip muscles.

Learn body movement mechanics and postural awareness.

Use proper footwear and knee support."

Most of our sitting, standing, walking lifestyle and the way we hold our posture are causing that result in chronic discomforts.

Learning movement mechanics to hold your optimal can be a key factor to re-learn optimal movement and train your muscles to hold your joints and bones in the most optimal state.

Having that neck, back, low back, or knee is not OK to live with.

My body has changed dramatically when I have switched from passive stretching to functional movement 👌 Understanding how the body works is a key factor in any movement style.

You can change your immobile joints by working with them, better than pulling into the muscles seeking stretching. All what the joints need are more fluids 🫶 work smarter, not harder 😁

BACK EXTENSION is one of my favourite poses that I keep building strength through..

➡️ Engaging the glutes
➡️ Having a strong upper body
➡️ opening the hip flexors

It's not determined by the flexibility of your spine. YOU DON'T want to put more weight into the low back & overextend the spine. If you feel in your low back.. Take it back! It's often the tightness in hip flexors, shoulders, or the side body.

🚫 No one should be okay with FHP.
✅️ your neck has more than 20 muscles. Responsible for holding the head in the most optimal position. We want them strong 💪
