Life, much like the sea, has its storms—times when moving forward feels impossible. But wise fishermen know that even when the waters are too rough to sail, there is still work to be done. They mend their nets, reinforce their boats, and prepare for the moment the sea calms. In the same way, moments of stillness in life are not wasted if we use them wisely. Reflection, learning, and preparation are forms of progress that may not be immediately visible but are just as important. So, if you find yourself in a season where action feels impossible, focus on strengthening yourself. The storm will pass, and when it does, you’ll be ready to set sail toward your next opportunity.
