In somatic coaching, we don’t just work on habits.
We work on reflexes that formed years ago and still run your life.

Many clients come saying they want more clarity, better decisions.
But as we start, we see signals they hadn’t noticed:
shallow breath
tight muscles
energy drops when facing important choices.

This isn’t about lack of clarity.
It’s an old alert state the body learned to see as normal.

What we do together is build a foundation of safety.
You learn to be present in your body, little by little.
No pressure. No forcing.

We explore where tension hides and how to release it.
Your body goes back to early moments when you learned to adapt, stay quiet, not ask.
And we give those moments a new ending. One where there is space. One where you matter.

We work with emotions where they got stuck — in muscles, in the skin, in the breath.
We integrate them into the body, not just the mind.
So you no longer lead from fear.
But from a space of real safety.

This is not a mindset shift.
It’s a recalibration of your entire inner structure.
So your performance stops being a defense.
And starts being an expression of who you are when your body feels safe.

[EN] Sometimes we forget what it's like to not do anything.
Every minute feels like it has to be productive.
Every pause brings a subtle restlessness.
This isn’t ambition.
It’s exhaustion disguised as constant motion.

When we start working with the body, the rhythm shifts.
We begin to notice the moment we start pushing ourselves.
We begin to recognize the signs of burnout before it arrives.

Step by step, the body learns that pause doesn’t mean danger.
That it’s okay to slow down.
That you don’t have to be in constant motion to know where you’re going.

It’s not about giving up.
It’s about no longer losing ourselves along the way.

Blocajul n-a „dispărut”.

[EN]
For years, I was functioning well.
Punctual. Responsible. Committed.
And yet, something inside felt tight. A subtle sense of effort in the background, even when everything seemed fine. The block wasn’t dramatic — it was quiet but persistent. It shaped my choices, reactions, and relationships.
It didn’t feel urgent. Until one day I asked myself: what if this is what’s holding me back?
That’s when I started somatic work. Not because I was “not coping.” But because I was ready to stop managing and start transforming. To stop controlling and start listening.
Not to ask “why am I like this?” but “what is my body feeling right now?”
At first, working with someone who didn’t ask for explanations or quick fixes felt unusual. But that was exactly what I needed. I began to feel my pace. To notice when I tense up. To stay with what was present — instead of running or rushing through it.
The block didn’t “go away.” But my relationship to it changed.
I’m no longer carrying it. I notice it. And I choose differently.
That’s what real support means: not someone who “fixes” you, but someone who holds a space for you to reconnect with yourself. Where you can feel — without pressure. Learn from the body, not from theory.
And from that space… change becomes natural. Not forced, not dramatic. Just real.
This is the kind of work I offer now. Gentle, grounded, somatic support for people who are ready to move through long-held patterns — not by force, but by listening.

For much of my life, I felt out of place, as though I didn’t truly belong in my own story. Early on, I learned that being myself wasn’t always acceptable, so I did my best to fit into the boxes others had laid out for me. I was often told I was “too sensitive” for life’s harshness, “too quiet” to stand out and felt deeply conflicted as I saw how the world often failed to support people’s well-being.

Discovering coaching felt like finding a magic wand — not one that simply changed the world around me but one that transformed how I saw myself. For the first time, I realized:
✨My sensitivity is a doorway to deeply understanding and connecting with others
✨I’m not just quiet — I have the gift of truly listening
✨I have the power to embody the change I wish to see in the world.

Becoming a Certified Transformational Master Coach with Coach Masters Academy wasn’t just about developing skills or becoming a better coach. It was a journey of rediscovering myself and embracing the value that had always been within me. This realization has become the heart of my work: supporting others to embody the power that already lies within them.

This journey was shaped by many mentors, peers, and clients who allowed me to witness and be part of their growth. I am profoundly grateful for these connections, which have enriched my own story.

Life is not meant to be lived in our heads, but this is how we do it. We think, we analyse, we decide and then we just send a memo to the body to deliver what was settled. Then we get surprised when we’ve got mass riots everywhere: chronic pain, headaches, tiredness, as if our body is in sabotage mode. In the absence of a medical pre-condition, these often come as symptoms of the disconnect we live with. We don’t listen to the body, to its needs, it’s pulsations, it’s impulses and wisdom.

Our body is disregarded:
- you are thirsty or hungry? not right now, we’ve got “work” to do
- stretch or move? we don’t have time for that
- you need to wind down before bed? Just let me scroll “a little bit”
- you are expressing anxiety now? just have a piece of cake
- tired? Oh don’t tell me you are ill… just get over it, maybe next week.

This is the internalised abuse that we are submitting ourselves to every day, in ways that may be more or less subtle. We don’t need 5 days off, we need a revolution. We need to start looking at our bodies as integral parts of who we are, to respect and honour the home we have in this lifetime.

The last few days of peace and quiet have been exactly what I needed after a busy April. The past month was a good reminder you can be grateful for the opportunity of amazing experiences, and it can still feel like too much, sometimes.

In my case, April was the month I:
● Supported 16 clients through individual sessions to improve their self leadership and gain visible results in their personal and professional life
● Facilitated learning for a new generation of coaches who are wrapping up their 7-months training with One2Coach. So exciting watching them integrate the new coaching skills in everything they do!
● Wrapped up 2 years of contributing in the ICF - ROMANIA Board of Directors and created a smooth transition for the new team
● Continued my growth as a coach by starting the Mastery Training for Deep Coaching with Coach Masters Academy and Kok Tiong Ben Koh.
● Practising new motorcycle skills, slowly increasing my endurance and abilities
● Lots of personal and professional development activities, individual and group psychotherapy, coaching sessions, meeting friends, having fun and date nights.

Taking time to slow down and allowing everything to settle supports us in integrating all the experiences and learnings that we need to move forward. Without this, we never get to fully embrace and enjoy all that we achieved.

What do you notice is shifting when you take time to slow down?

PS: If you want to work with me this summer, I have availability for one new client, so you can book a discovery call using the link in comments.

At the end of March, I'll conclude my two-year term on the ICF - ROMANIA Board of Directors. This experience has far exceeded any expectations I may have had.

Throughout these years, I've had the privilege of leading the vision of ICF in Romania alongside Madi Radulescu, Radu Mindru, Mioara Soldan, Rudolf Nyari, Raluca Cimpea, Raluca Andreea Popa, Barta Csilla-Mária, Claudiu Gura, Alina M. Ionescu, Filote Alina Mariana, Ana-Maria Balan, Andreea Nate, Carmen Negiba. I'm grateful to each of you for shaping who I am today and for everything we’ve created together for the Romanian coaching community.

Within the membership team, I've had the opportunity to collaborate with dedicated ICF members who chose to contribute their time and energy for something greater than themselves. Thank you Medina Enache, Cristina Cristina, Monica Dudau, Daniela Chiricioaia, Andreea Prună - Giurgilă, Olguta Craciun, Teodora Teculescu, Cristina Dragomir!

To my dear colleague Ada Chindea, who will be assuming leadership of the Membership department for the next two years, I wish you a great experience in this significant role within the Romanian coaching community!

In 2021, after several years working as a professional coach, I found myself inspired by the progress my clients were making. Yet, there was a longing within me to facilitate even deeper transformations. I began intuitively integrating the body's wisdom into our coaching conversations, but I desired a more comprehensive approach that encompassed mind, body, and emotions.

This aspiration led me to pursue my dream of fully incorporating the body into the coaching process. My journey began with an intensive 4-month Embodiment Coaching Course in 2021. Today, I'm proud to share that I've also completed the final module of a 3-year Somatic Experiencing™ training program.

Delving into somatic work has been a profound experience. The feedback from my clients, coupled with my personal growth, consistently affirmed that I was on the right path. Over the past three years, I've immersed myself in studying the body's wisdom, allowing it to guide me in understanding the needs of a healing nervous system.

With this integrated approach my clients have managed to get a better insight into their emotional challenges, as well as improving their inner strength and resilience. I'm deeply grateful for this transformative journey and excited to continue empowering others through the integration of mind, body, and emotions in coaching.

Excited to announce the completion of a course on Conflict Dynamics and Strategies with Canadian International Institute of Applied Negotiation.

In my journey as a professional coach, understanding the intricacies of conflict resolution is very important. This course has been a game-changer, equipping me with practical strategies to navigate conflicts effectively and foster collaborative solutions.

Implementing these insights in my coaching practice, I've already witnessed transformative shifts in leadership dynamics. By empowering leaders to approach conflicts with empathy, communication, and strategic thinking, we're not just resolving issues – we're cultivating stronger, more resilient teams.

Here's to continuous growth and making a positive impact in every aspect of our professional journey!

Gratitude fills my heart as I look back on the experience of attending the Annual ICF - ROMANIA Conference on Navigating Change - Creating Adaptive Communities. It was an honour to be part of the team of ICF volunteers who brought together an exceptional lineup of national and international speakers.

The conference provided a platform to delve deep into the art of navigating change and fostering adaptive communities – topics that resonate deeply in today's ever-evolving world. The insights shared sparked new ideas and perspectives that will undoubtedly shape my coaching journey moving forward.

Beyond the enriching content, connecting with fellow coaches and partners from the business world was a joy. The exchange of knowledge and experiences reinforced the sense of community and collaboration that defines the coaching profession.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved in making this conference a success. Here's to continued learning, growth, and creating positive change together!

In a world where success is often measured by personal achievements, let's not forget the profound impact of giving back. Whether through mentorship, volunteering, or philanthropy, our contributions have the power to shape lives and communities.

In the past 2 years I’ve had the privilege to volunteer with the Ignite project, organized by ICF - ROMANIA and International Coaching Federation Foundation. My contribution consisted in offering coaching to young leaders embarking on their journey to make a difference, within Voluntari pentru Idei si Proiecte - VIP. It's been an incredibly rewarding experience witnessing their growth, passion, and commitment to positive change.

As professionals, we possess a wealth of knowledge and skills that can uplift those around us. By investing our time and expertise, we not only empower others but also cultivate a culture of collaboration and collective progress.

Remember, the true measure of success lies not only in what we achieve for ourselves but also in the impact we make in the lives of others. Let's continue to give back, inspire change, and ignite the flame of leadership in the next generation.

There was once a child with deep sensitivity, who felt the joys and sorrows of life more intensely than those around her. That child grew up connected to the mission of bringing harmony into the world, and through a wild journey this mission became a reality that fuels her every day.

In this month’s newsletter from POARTA 9 you can grab the latest news in media & communication, together with a short interview where I opened up on a few topics: from childhood, sensitivity, becoming myself and plans for the future. Mihaela Joita and Andrei Lasc brought the questions, I brought the answers. Available in Romanian.

Come and grab it while it’s hot! (link in the comments)
