AliRa Recruitment, is recruiting for its client, a global biosolutions business unit of a multinational group which is a leader of agri-inputs for sustainable agriculture, a position of Business Developer / Key Account Manager Romania.

Profile & Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of experience in foliar fertilizers, bio-stimulants, and adjuvants.
• Proven experience in B2B sales or business development within the agribusiness sector;
• Strong technical understanding of plant nutrition and soil health – an advantage;
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills;
• Strategic mindset, self-driven, and capable of working with a high degree of autonomy;
• Proven experience in team management;
• University degree in Agriculture (preferred fields: agronomy, biotechnology, chemistry, project management);
• Very good knowledge of English;
• Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively across Romania.
Role Overview:
The position will be responsible for developing the market, managing key national distributors, expanding the customer base, and ensuring sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Development & Growth
• Drive the long term development of the Romanian market in alignment with Group strategic priorities.
• Identify new market opportunities and define clear growth pathways.
• Lead the expansion of the product portfolio in Romania and the Republic of Moldova.
2. Key Account & Distributor Management
• Manage and grow commercial relationships with national distributors.
• Coordinate negotiations, sales planning, and order management.
• Support the activation and development of new clients to broaden the customer base.
3. Commercial Ex*****on & Forecasting
• Coordinate demand forecasts, sales plans, and supply needs together with internal teams.
• Report market performance, customer insights, and competitor trends.
• Achieve the annual commercial and development budget for Romania.
4. Marketing & Technical Activation
• Collaborate with development and marketing teams to design and execute product action plans.
• Organize seminars, conferences, field demonstrations, and training sessions.
• Support technical initiatives including expert visits, product analyses, and on-field assessment programs.
5. Customer Support & Issue Resolution
• Respond to claims and provide support to customers and distributors.
• Maintain high customer satisfaction and ensure service excellence.
6. Regulatory & Portfolio Support
• Monitor and communicate regulatory updates that may impact market access or product positioning.
• Ensure labelling and documentation comply with applicable regulations
