I have completed the most complex and large custom project. A lot of work was done before the project was completely finished🦾
I am happy to see when it all works as it should😇.

Part 1.
Most of the time was spent on developing and thinking through a reliable fastening system. The wingspan is 2 meters 35 centimeters. These are really huge wings, even testing and shooting them in full size was difficult. For transportation and use, we made a completely collapsible structure.
The feathers are removable, equipped with a secure mount and power connectors. The main load is borne by the guides to which the feathers are attached, they are also removable. Wiring, connectors and internals, connection points are hidden by a removable outer casing.
The "wing flap" is a large decorative element at the top of the wing, it was the main conundrum of how to make a secure mount without changing the appearance of this element. This was one of the most difficult tasks that I faced during my entire work as a foreman. We must not forget that we need to save weight, this is a difficult task, we need to create a reliable, strong structure that can withstand heavy loads and weight, the elements themselves are large, and at the same time remain as light and strong as possible. Therefore, the main material was PVC plastic (This is completely handmade, there are no 3D printed elements), it has sufficient strength, and, unlike evafoam, allows you to create clear edges. However, I used evafoam here in the same way, but in smaller quantities.
We did a lot of testing before making sure that the design is reliable, repeated dismantling and installation of feathers, testing during two days of filming, will allow us to ensure that these wings will survive the visit of the comicon and breaking through the crowd with them😅

For processing PLA, I used hand grinding, for processing transparent surfaces to remove irregularities formed during printing, I used only chemical treatment, and covered it with a tinting varnish from a spray gun.

For backlighting, we used a regular blue LED strip and LEDs fore more deep lightcolor. Props for my dear friend and customer

When you make epoxy resin castings, you also do not throw away the leftovers, but pour them into molds, what if they come in handy in the future? 😅

I actually cast epoxy very often (since 2015). Thus, I have accumulated a whole box of rhinestones, sometimes clients buy these rhinestones from me. Sometimes I cast them to order.

I have worked with different types of epoxy, and I can say that they are really very different, I prefer using epoxycast 690, from Smoot-On, however it is not so easy to use when you only need to mix a few grams, due to the ratio of components A and B ( an accurate balance must be used). In addition, I noticed that some brands of resin begin to turn yellow over time, even without exposure to direct sunlight, I have a significant collection of transparent rhinestones, cast at different times, and indeed the more fearful they are, the more yellow they become. This is hardly noticeable if you use dyes.

And a free tip - never try to use clear injection molded plastics instead of epoxy, I tested this myself using Crystal clear 202, it was my mistake.😓

After a long New Year holidays, we received our package with watch straps. And we finished The Division agent wristwatch (with new type led, more brightness as you can see).
I want to tell you the news. We received a new interesting order for the Division, this order includes not only the watches that we make to order, but also the rest of the cosplay props. Now we are developing our own 3D model for the walkie-talkie (of course it will have a backlight), as well as a mount / carabiner. I think we will use PLA for 3dprinting. Therefore, we will soon be able to make a complete set of props to order. Hell yeah!!! 🔥I've really been waiting for this for a whole year. This is my first and last shoot in this year. I started preparing for this cosplay back in February, and really hoped to perform at conventions in Russia in the spring, but the coronavirus pandemic happened, and everything did not go according to plan.

But thanks to this shoot, I still feel like a cosplayer, not just a master of making cosplay props. I really look forward to the photos, I hope you like them too!

I worked on various props from Overwatch, I think my most difficult and favorite work was and remains - the Widowmaker's Sniper Rifle, with the ability to switch between assault and sniper modes, it was completely made manually. And it was the most complex and detailed project.
But I also really like the Sombra Machine Gun🔥, for the abundance of small parts and a complex paint scheme. And of course McCree's hand, it looks really brutal💪. I'm not counting the Mercy wings yet, they are not finished yet. Which project (not necessarily the Overwatch props) that I created did you like the most? Or maybe there is some kind of props that you would like to see in my performance?

Cyberpunk 2077 "V's Favorite Jacket" (yes, I decided so myself😅)is ready!
A huge amount of work has been done, which started back in February. I made this jacket for myself, and this is my vision, which was based on 3 different arts and trailer that were originally. 3 people and the services of 3 different companies to make this jacket, but it was thanks to the sewing master that this project was brought to life💪

It was a really unusual and challenging project for me. All the props are made by me from PVC, EVA, 3D printing and some other materials. This was the first time I worked with liquid rubber. The most difficult thing seemed to make a zipper, it was completely made by hand (in fact, making a zipper is not difficult, but laborious, cutting out hundreds of parts by hand, this is still an adventure), until we encountered a metallic print, it was really not easy!

We are continuing to work on the wings for the Mercy (War Doctor skin) from Overwatch.
They are really huge - 3 meters wide!
I had to solve several problems in order to achieve this brightness of the backlight, but I will talk about that later.
Now it remains to finalize the wing opening mechanism before this project is ready!
