As part of the Caregiving/ CNA/ Nursing Aide and EMT's Educational Curriculum, trainees should be particular with Pharmacology in order to have a better understanding and care of clients medications, including their purpose, dosage, side effects, and potential interactions, to ensure safety. This knowledge empowers caregivers to have a better understanding on medications correctly, monitor for adverse effects, educate patients and families, and facilitate communication with healthcare providers, ultimately improving patient safety and quality of life.
