في ظلّ رياح الحرب. تظلّ المرأة شمعة تنير دروب الأمل وسط الظلام، تطحن المعاناة بصمت، وتُرضع الحياة من ثديي اليأس. اليوم، ونحن ننخرط في الحملة العالمية للـ١٦ يوماً ضد العنف الموجه للمرأة، نعانق بأرواحنا كل امرأة في السودان عموما و شمال دارفور خصوصا تحمل جراح الحرب مرتين: مرة على جسدها، ومرة على قلبها. نقف هنا لا للشجب فقط، بل لنقول بصوت واحد: كفى عنفاً. كفى جوعاً. كفى تهجيراً. لأن بلادنا التي نريد لن تُبنى إلا بيد امرأة آمنة، حرة، وقادرة على أن تُرضع الأجيال حليب الكرامة لا مرارة الخوف. معاً، نحول صمودكن إلى قانون، ودموعكن إلى وعد، وصوتكن إلى ثورة تهدّ أركان كل أشكال العنف.
In the wind of war. A woman remains a candle that illuminates the paths of hope in the dark, silently grinding suffering, and suckling life out of my breasts of despair. Today, as we engage in the global campaign for 16 days against violence directed at women, we embrace with our lives every woman in Sudan in general and North Darfur in particular bearing the wounds of war twice: once on her body, once on her heart. We stand here not only to denounce, but to say with one voice: Enough with violence “suffice.” Enough with hunger Enough displacement.. Because our country that we want will only be built by a safe, free, and capable woman who can breastfeed the milk of dignity, not the bitterness of fear. Together, we turn your steadfastness into law, your tears into promise, and your voice into a revolution that guides all forms of violence.
