Dear Collaborators,
We would like your help with a Multi-center cross-sectional study. We are a group of doctors and medical students from the University of Aleppo, doing a research study about the prevalence and risk factors of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) among Adults.
Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) is a common condition that affects the digestive system.
It causes symptoms like stomach cramps, bloating, diarrhea and constipation. These tend to come and go over time and can last for days, weeks, or months at a time. This is because it's usually a lifelong problem.
We want to investigate the risk factors that may lead to this syndrome as well as the prevalence.
If you decide to take part in the study as a "Collaborator", please read the enclosed information leaflet carefully, and a researcher from our team will get in touch with you by email.
Collaborators will be responsible for collecting at least 30 participants from their communities (family, friends, from workplace..etc) Participants are just Adults (18 years of age or older), and not necessary to be diagnosed with IBS. The population must be from various backgrounds and ethnicities (Urban/ Rural, Males/Females, ..etc).
Data collection must be based on personal interviews (with the participants). Collaborators are responsible for explaining survey questions. The survey should not be shared with the public.
All eligible collaborators will be PubMed cited in any study that may result from the collected data.
The Data Collection Phase will take part in [April-May 2022].

إذا قررت المشاركة في الدراسة بصفتك "متعاونًا" ، فيرجى قراءة نشرة المعلومات المرفقة بعناية و تعبت الاستمارة بالأسفل، وسيتواصل معك باحث من فريقنا عبر البريد الإلكتروني.
سيكون المتعاونون مسؤولين عن جمع ما لا يقل عن 30 مشاركًا من مجتمعاتهم (العائلة ، الأصدقاء ، من مكان العمل .. إلخ) المشاركون هم من البالغين (18 عامًا أو أكبر). يجب أن يكون السكان من خلفيات وأعراق مختلفة (حضري / ريفي ، ذكور / إناث ..إلخ).
يجب أن يعتمد جمع البيانات على المقابلات الشخصية (مع المشاركين). المتعاونون مسؤولون عن شرح أسئلة الاستمارة بالتفصيل. لا ينبغي مشاركة الاستطلاع مع المجتمع.
سيتم ذكر جميع المتعاونين المؤهلين فيفي أي دراسة قد تنتج عن البيانات التي تم جمعها.
سيتم بدأ جمع البيانات في [أبريل- مايو 2022].
