Your gateway to writing a professional scientific abstract for international conferences

📍 With the increasing opportunities for participation in global academic conferences—most notably **AMEE**—abstract writing remains one of the main challenges facing many students. Not due to weak ideas, but rather the lack of practical training and proper guidance.

From here, we launch the
Abstract Writing Workshop
as an intensive, hands-on workshop aimed at transforming individual writing attempts into strong, clear, and conference-compliant scientific abstracts.

📚 حين يشتدّ التحدي في التعليم، يولد الإبداع ضرورةً لا خيارًا.

خلال هذه الدورة، رفع المكتب المحلي للتعليم الطبي (SCOME) ⚕️ مستوى الوعي والفعل، فكان سندًا لطلابنا، وصوتًا مدافعًا عن جودة التعلم، ومساحةً استمر فيها البناء رغم الانقطاع والتقلبات.

📹 من المنصات الدولية إلى القاعات المحلية، ومن التحول الرقمي إلى التفاعل الحضوري، رسّخ المكتب حقيقة واحدة: أن التعليم الطبي متجدد، وأن الطلاب هم قلب هذا التحوّل وركيزته.

We are pleased to introduce the speakers of AMEE workshop:

🎙️Mohammed Seifuldin:
4th-year medical student and research intern at Mayo Clinic and the University of Chicago.
Mohammed is a former AMEE Student Task Force (STF) member and an abstract presenter at AMEE 2025, with strong interests in medical education, global health, and neurology. He is driven by research-based innovation and collaborative academic work.

🎙️Amr Kamal:
IFMSA SCORE Director (2024/2025) and a former KMSA Local Team EB member.
Amr has been part of the IFMSA International Team for over two years, and actively contributed to AMEE as a Student Task Force member (2023) and Tutor (2024). He has also presented 3+ abstracts at international conferences, including AMEE and the WFME World Conferences.

🌟 In the Discover AMEE session, they will share insights from their AMEE journey and practical guidance for students aspiring to participate in international medical education conferences.

🕊️ خلال هذه الدورة، حوّل المكتب المحلي لحقوق الإنسان والسلام (SCORP) قيم العدالة والكرامة فعلًا، فإجتهدنا في دفع الظلم، رفع أصوات المهمّشين، حيث تحوّل الوعي إلى حماية، والكلمة إلى تأثير حقيقي.

⚖️ من العدالة الاجتماعية والمساواة إلى حماية الكوادر الصحية، أثبت المكتب أن السلام ليس صمتًا، بل فعل يُبنى بالعدل ويحرسه الدفاع الثابت عن حقوق الإنسان.🛡️

Throughout this term, our local Standing Committee on Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights including HIV and AIDS placed women — and their right to health, dignity, and choice — at the heart of every initiative. From She Leads the World, to SCORA MedCare, and the impactful campaign Fighting FGM: From Harm to Hope.

📼 Here, awareness became action, words turned into protection, and knowledge shaped real, lasting impact — towards a future grounded in justice, dignity, and compassion.

🤱🎗️ خلال هذه الدورة، جعل مكتبنا المحلي للصحة الانجابية والإيدز النساء وحقهن في الصحة والكرامة في قلب كل مبادرة. من «هي تقود العالم»، مرورًا بـرعاية سكورا الطبية، وصولًا إلى «مناهضة ختان الإناث: من الأذى إلى الأمل».

‏🔻 *Launch and Lead | بوابتك نحو المشاركة الأكاديمية الفاعلة*

*أعضاء الجمعية العمومية الأعزاء،*
تشهد المرحلة القادمة تزايدًا ملحوظًا في المؤتمرات العلمية التي تتطلب تقديم ملخصات علمية للأبحاث، والأنشطة، والمشاريع بغرض النشر والمشاركة.

ولا يقتصر القبول في هذه المؤتمرات على جودة العمل فقط، بل يعتمد كذلك على:
• صياغة ملخص علمي احترافي ومتوافق مع المعايير الأكاديمية.
• الإلمام بآليات القبول ومتطلبات التقديم.
• معرفة فرص الدعم المالي المتاحة وكيفية التقديم لها بالشكل الصحيح.

🌟ومن هنا يأتي برنامج *Launch and Lead* ليكون نقطة الانطلاق نحو حضور علمي أقوى وتمثيل أكاديمي أكثر فاعلية.

*ما هو برنامج Launch and Lead?*
برنامج يهدف إلى دعم أعضاء KMSA من خلال:
• تدريب عملي مكثف على كتابة وتطوير الملخصات العلمية.
• لجنة متخصصة لمراجعة الملخصات وتقديم التغذية الراجعة.
• جلسات وورش عمل للتعريف بالمؤتمرات العلمية المحلية والدولية.
• التوجيه نحو فرص الدعم المالي وآليات التقديم لها.
• ربط الجانب الأكاديمي بالتطبيق العملي والمشاركة الفعلية في المؤتمرات.

🌟 الجهات المشاركة:
• مكتب التعليم الطبي والتطوير المهني – السكرتارية الأكاديمية.
• الفريق المحلي- مكتب التعليم الطبي (SCOME).
• مكتب المشاريع - SAMER

*لماذا تفتح باب التقديم؟*
نبحث عن أعضاء KMSA الراغبين في العمل ضمن برنامج *Launch and Lead* ، والمساهمة في:
• تعزيز الحضور الخارجي والتمثيل الأكاديمي لـ KMSA.
• دعم الزملاء في خوض التجربة الأكاديمية والمشاركة في المؤتمرات العلمية.
• اكتساب خبرة عملية حقيقية في العمل الأكاديمي والتنظيمي.
