🇸🇪 Vilken fantastisk dag det blev när Överkalix möttes!
Projektet Move on up med projektledaren Sofi Wiippa Lahti hade planerat en välkomstträff för inflyttade, hemvändare och lokalbor där det fanns något för alla åldrar!
Drygt ett 60-tal fick en kort presentation från Överkalix kommun och Framtidsenheten. Därefter hade föreningar, organisationer och företag möjlighet att presentera sig och få in nya medlemmar och kunder, vilket var toppen!
Några av våra ambassadörer var också på plats och självklart tog vi upp dessa på scenen för att få applåder och hyllningar för sitt ideella engagemang.
Givetvis hade vi något för barnen och i pysselbordet var det fullt av aktiviteter från början till slt samt att kön till HappyFaces ansiktsmålning aldrig verkade ta slut!
Barnen hade sysselsättning, pysslade och fick godis, vilket gjorde att de vuxna i lugn och ro kunde ta del av programmet.
Under vårt klassiska svenska fika, kanelbulle med valfri dryck, spelades livemusik från scenen och gästerna hade möjlighet att mingla innan det var dags för quiz!
Denna gång var det frågor om Sverige och lagen blandades med inflyttare och lokalbefolkning, vilket var så fint att se!
Dagen avslutades med att Isabelle Brännvall, projektledare för "Överkalix är utmärkt!", bjudit in tre mäklarfirmor till ett panelsamtal.
Här förklarade mäklarna hur det går till att sälja eller köpa hus, vad man har för rättigheter och att inte vara rädda att ta kontakt om man har frågor.
Det blev ett perfekt avslut på en lyckad dag där både stora och små gick hem med ett nöjt leende på läpparna!

🇬🇧 What a fantastic day it was when Överkalix came together!
The project Move on up, led by Sofi Wiippa Lahti, had organized a welcome gathering for newcomers, returnees, and locals, offering something for all ages!
Around 60 participants received a short presentation from Överkalix Municipality and the Future Unit. Afterwards, associations, organizations, and companies had the chance to present themselves and gain new members and customers, which was excellent!
Some of our ambassadors were also present, and of course, we brought them on stage to receive applause and recognition for their voluntary commitment.
Naturally, there was something for the children too: the craft table was full of activities from start to finish, and the line for HappyFaces face painting never seemed to end!
The children were kept busy, crafting and enjoying candy, which allowed the adults to calmly take part in the program.
During our classic Swedish fika, cinnamon bun with a drink of choice, live music was played from the stage, and guests had the chance to mingle before it was time for the quiz!
This time, the questions were about Sweden, and the teams were mixed with newcomers and locals, which was wonderful to see!
The day ended with Isabelle Brännvall, project manager for "Överkalix är utmärkt!", inviting three real estate firms to a panel discussion.
The agents explained how buying or selling a house works, what rights you have, and encouraged people not to hesitate to get in touch if they had questions.
It was the perfect conclusion to a successful day where both young and old went home with a satisfied smile!
