Alan Kempster was an Australian motorcycle racer who achieved his dream of competing in the Isle of Man TT, inspiring many with his ‘half man’ nickname and positive attitude after losing his right arm and leg in a 1990 accident.
Despite his injuries, Alan continued to race, even competing without a prosthesis to improve his safety and mobility on the bike. His story is one of resilience, focusing on proving that anything is possible and using his platform to encourage other disabled individuals to pursue their passions.
Sadly Alan passed away in 2018 at the age of 56. His legacy lives on as a source of inspiration for many in the motorcycle racing community and beyond
