Four years of growing herbs.
Four years of expanding, building, carrying, learning.

This year, the garden doubles again.
800 m² of plants to tend, harvest, dry, transform.

It’s beautiful. And it’s demanding.
Farming asks for strength, discipline, repetition.
And somewhere along the way, something can quietly fade, lightness, pleasure, softness.

So this season, I’m doing it differently.

Not less seriously.
Not less committed.
But with more space for expression, for play, for movement.

Because working the land doesn’t have to mean hardening yourself.
And building something doesn’t require leaving parts of you behind.

Even on a tractor.

Today marks the official opening of the farm and the start of the 2026 season!

We began under a clear sky, with the kind of weather that sets the tone for the season.

I welcome the first team that will work along side me this early part of summer.

The garden is expanding from 400 m² to 800 m². A full doubling of the space, and with it, a deeper commitment to growing high-quality medicinal herbs locally. More plants, more work, more intention behind every step.

This week we work on the new, measuring the beds, and soil preparation.

My harvest data tells me exactly when each herb is ready, week by week, month by month.

From this, I can plan the CSA: which herbs I will teach, when I will teach them, and which remedies we will make together.

So you are always working with herbs at their peak fresh, abundant, and full of life.

Do you know that some herbs are also available in 100g?

30g packages last a month if you use the herbs daily. While the 100g packages are great if you want to stock herbs over time. If you use the herbs regurlarly 100g will last up to 6 months, and to one year if you use them occasionally.

The "kvinnors örtte" or women's tea, is the very first tea I ever created at Nordiska Örter, and every year, it comes back… and sells out.

This season is no exception. The blend is now gone.

If you want to make your own, here is the blend:
Raspberry leaves + nettle + yarrow + rose + sage

Right now, I still have: Raspberry leaves, yarrow, and sage in stock.

Nettle and roses are currently unavailable.

If you’re missing ingredients, you could ask whether , or have them in their stock.

Always, prefer to find small producers for your herbs.

Tracability

Sweden, dried herbs are considered processed food products.
This means that Nordiska Örter is registered as a food business and regularly inspected by the municipality under Livsmedelsverket to ensure strict food hygiene and safety standards are followed.

They also check the products are tracable. Every herb I produce is linked to a specific batch number.
That means you can know exactly when your herbs were harvested and dried.

For example, a batch number like E-1-09/2025 means:
E for echinacea, 1 for the first harvest, and 09/2025 for September 2025.

Because herbs are at their best when they are fresh. Aroma, color, and overall quality all evolve over time. With full traceability, you are not just buying herbs, you are choosing their age and freshness.

I created a new tea blend for to calm down the nervous system while and easing the heart
It’s cooling and slightly moisturizing tea.

This blend brings two main qualities:
• it helps calm down nerves and anxiety
• it brings a heart-centered support with hawthorn and motherwort offering emotional steadiness when things feel heavy or changing

Recipe if you want to make it yourself:
• one part motherwort
• one part artemisia
• one part calendula
• one part red clover
• one part chamomile
• one part lavender (I always add a little extra lavender)

I will have this blend available in sale next year. Probably under the name Ease the Heart or Release.

Realising beeing also what I am trying to do. And for this I have started singing lessons with . Next week we will start training this song from Katie Melua.

I’m learning, opening my voice, and letting myself just be. Not perfect singer yet! 😅 It is a learning process 🙏
