🔸 Undescended Testicles (Cryptorchidism): Higher risk for boys with testicles that don't descend into the sc***um.

🔸 Family History: If a close relative has testicular cancer or undescended testicles, your risk is higher.

🔸 Abnormal Testicular Development: Conditions causing abnormal development may lead to increased risk.

🔸 Age: Most commonly affects men aged 15-35, but it can happen at any age.

Keep your kidneys stone-free with these 3 simple steps

💧 Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate: Water helps flush out stone-forming minerals. Aim for at least 2-3 liters a day!

🍽️ Reduce High Oxalate Foods: Reduce high-oxalate foods like spinach, nuts, and chocolate.

🧂Limit Sodium Intake: Limit processed foods, fast food, and added salt. Aim for no more than 2,300 mg of sodium per day, and ideally 1,500 mg for those at risk of kidney stones.

Kidney stones are one of the most common diseases of the urinary tract and are mainly characterised by their composition. There are many possible compositions of kidney stones, but the five major types are:

1️⃣ Calcium Oxalate: The most common type of kidney stones, caused by excess calcium and oxalate.

2️⃣ Uric Acid: Another common type of kidney stone that form when there are high levels of uric acid in the urine.

3️⃣Calcium Phosphate: Calcium phosphate stones are usually formed when urine is too alkaline.

4️⃣Struvite: Struvite stones are stones made of magnesium ammonium phosphate and are associated with infections of the upper urinary tract.

5️⃣Cystine: Cystine stones are made of cystine and are often associated with cystinuria, an inherited condition that results in cystine build-up in the urine.

If you suspect you have kidney stones or are at risk, it’s important to consult with a urologist for proper diagnosis and care.
