You don't need new hardware to combat digital eye strain. The solution is already built into your screen.
Staring at a screen for too long can make your eyes feel tired, and a major reason is the high-energy blue light most LED screens emit. While blue light plays a role in our sleep-wake cycle, overexposure from devices can lead to digital eye strain and, potentially, long-term retinal damage.
The good news is that most modern monitors and devices come with a built-in filter (like Low Blue Light) that specifically reduces this harmful light. If your device doesn't have this hardware, you can use software filters like Night Shift on macOS or Night Light on Windows.
