Our team in China recently attended the 28th Annual Meeting of the Chinese Urological Association (CUA) held from 21 – 24 October 2021 in Nanjing, China. The annual meeting aims to create a space where outstanding international experts can come together to exchange ideas, new research findings and clinical expertise.

CUA, which exists to promote the highest standards of urologic care across the globe and to advance the science of urology, organizes some of the most respected scientific urological conferences and meetings, attracting over tens of thousands of participants every year. This year’s 28th Annual Meeting by the Chinese Urological Association is one such event.

Creative Medtech Solutions is very excited about this research cooperation with Institute for Infocomm Research (I2R). The objective of this project is to develop a CT-Ultrasound fusion system to enhance the safety and accuracy of ultrasound guidance for interventional needle insertion.

A*STAR’s Institute for Infocomm Research and Creative Medtech Solutions Pte Ltd signed a Research Collaboration Agreement (RCA) on 14 Feb 2020 to jointly develop an ultrasound-guided surgical robot navigation system to assist physicians in percutaneous abdomen interventions.
This collaboration aims to increase safety and accuracy through enhanced Multimodal image fusion algorithms, coupled with Creative Medtech Solutions’ Tracking and Robotic system.

CREATIVE MEDTECH SOLUTIONS (CMS) AND THE INSTITUTE INFOCOMM RESEARCH(I2R)
COLLABORATION ON ULTRASOUND GUIDED SURGICAL NAVIGATION SYSTEM
SINGAPORE –Creative Medtech Solutions (CMS), dedicated to the development and application of intelligent medical platforms and surgical robots. The company has started this research cooperation with the Institute of Information and Communications Research (I2R) affiliated to the Singapore Science and Technology Research Agency (A * STAR). In our collaborative research efforts with I2R, we can combine I2R’s strengths in image processing with our own capabilities and strengths in Ultrasound and Robotics to provide a solution that achieves 3 objectives.
1.Achieve Higher Accuracy, Reduce Procedure Time, and with Zero Radiation
2.Ensure precise, repeatable procedures for operators of all levels of experience
3.Instil confidence and reliability in using a robotic platform for percutaneous puncture in place of free-handed punctures.
