Resilience is a topic I’ve been wanting to speak about for a long time.

What does ‘resilience’ mean in this new way of being?

In this new way of being, we begin with the assumption that we are already resilient. Resilience is an innate capacity, not something we for ourselves to obtain. It’s an innate capacity we learn to access again.

Resilience has many faces.

Sometimes, it looks like rest.

Sometimes, it looks like meeting ourselves with compassion, and attuning to our internal signals, instead of overriding them with the mind.

Sometimes, it looks like the willingness to uncover what is shaping certain recurring unhelpful dynamics or patterns, the ones that keep us stuck, disconnected or unable to move forward with ease.

Resilience is also how we relate to struggles, our conditionings, and the difficult moments life brings.

It can even look like learning how to relax again.

Perhaps no one told us that resilience could take on so many forms - for some of us who are living in chronic exhaustion/ burnout, stuckness or collapse, resilience is having the courage to pause, to give ourselves the permission to break things down one step at a time.. to rest and to recalibrate; So that we can start to access our innate resilience once more, and even return to our natural state of Chill.

Today, I received a message as I asked for guidance in this phase of my life.

This feels like a reminder I’ve been needing in this season: to slow down, to trust, and to let things root instead of rushing to the next thing.

And maybe some of you might be in a similar phase too:

“I am planting roots that are meant to last.

I trust that what I am building now is aligned with my soul, supported by the universe, and unfolding in its own timing.

I am held, I am guided and growing into a life that feels like home.”

If this resonates with where you are right now, I’d love to hear, what chapter are you slowly growing into? 🫜

Hello from Bali 👋
-

What helps me in noticing some of my own unhelpful or no-longer-relevant conditionings is paying attention to the emotional cues that show up in our everyday life.

Our emotions often give us clues about the stories, conditionings, or inner voices that are shaping how we live, react, and relate to others.

What are some conditionings you’ve outgrown, or are in the process of updating for yourself?

It’s been a hectic week thus far, But I finally managed to edit and upload this video (yay). In this video, I share more about this state of Chill. ❤️

Day 1 of declaring my own mini pilot test 🫶 it’s a part of a new model (the hourglass theory) I’ve been working on over the last two years; will be sharing more in time to come.

The Hourglass maps how we move between contraction and expansion, between disconnection and connection, between the human self and the deeper Self/ Soul.

And right at the centre of this hourglass lies the bridge between the two; what I call the state of Chill.

It is the state of connection with our deeper Self/ Soul: the felt experience of the divine moving through the human. It’s the frequency of authenticity, when our actions, words, and energy are aligned with our inner truth.

This state of chill is essentially living our human life from the Soul, from that deeper current within us that’s always connected to consciousness, to God, to Source. It’s the current that flows beneath our conditioning, beneath the pain, the ego defences, and the karmic echoes of old patterns.

When we intentionally reconnect to that current, no matter how much is accessible in any given moment, we begin to act from ease, alignment, and trust.

And life responds differently. Reality starts to shift. Abundance flows in naturally. Love, health, opportunities, relationships, they begin to rearrange and take care of themselves.

I’ll be sharing more about my reflections along the way, including what energetic states are, how they actually feel like, and how we can consciously return to them. If you have any questions/ thoughts/ ideas, feel free to leave them in the comments. 🤍

Sometimes we try so hard to adjust our flavour - toning down, sweetening up, blending in. But maybe the magic was never in the customisations… It’s in the original recipe that’s uniquely you. 🍵✨

Somewhere along my journey of becoming, I realised how much of my own flavour I had diluted. And last month, when I was in Taiwan, stumbling across this Taiwan’s no.1 bubble tea 幸福堂 was a mirror moment for me. I was reminded that the world doesn’t need a “lighter” version of us. It needs the one that feels the most true. Healing for me has always been about returning to that - the courage to be unedited, unapologetic & whole.

What’s your original recipe? The flavours of you that no longer need to be edited to fit in.
Share it below 🤍👇🏻

I want you to know that you will be able to overcome your so-called “social anxiety.

I hope you know that the anxiety you feel before, or even after social events isn’t irrational.

It’s an intelligent part of your system trying to guard you from old pain.

You’re not broken.
You don’t have to force yourself to “be normal”.

I hope that you find the strength and also the tenderness to care for yourself differently now. 🤍🧡🤎

Love,
Jeannette

This week, a client asked me in session, “What do you do to recharge yourself?”

After a full work week of sessions, I came home on Saturday to the smell of dumplings and the rhythm of my mom’s hands at work. 🥺

It brought me right back to those childhood moments of sitting beside her, watching, and also attempting to make but realise it always seems harder than it is 😆

I think that’s my answer.

I recharge by coming back to what brings my heart joy and reminds me who I am.

To warmth, food, love and joy. ❤️

From a Transpersonal lens, grief is not only a natural adjustment to the physical loss of someone or something. It is a loss of a deeper inner state that once gave us a sense of safety, belonging, or connection to something greater (such a felt sense of love, or meaning).

What we’re grieving isn’t always the person or thing itself but the state of being we experienced through them.

And when that state is no longer accessible, it feels like we’re left with a void. That void now becomes the depth within us that actually wants to seek for the “same experience” or “same state” often externally, in an attempt to recreate that loss connection, meaning or aliveness. It has a motivation component in it because it simply wants to return to something it once deeply knew.

This can continue until it understands that state was never truly lost. It was never outside of us to begin with.

The same longing, or emptiness or what we often call the “void” - is also what motivates the process of Self-discovery.

Through this, we are invited to turn inward, to reclaim that inner state we loss. I see that it is both a process of reaching outward, and allowing our innate capacity to nurture the void in a way that feels right to us. This is the process through which our capacity expands and disconnection heals.

In the process itself, we may find satisfaction or meaning but perhaps not in the same way we thought it would be.

This is not a return to the past, or to who we were before the loss, but it is re-connecting to our own essence.

Ultimately, grief becomes the doorway through which deeper self-awareness, emotional healing, and personal growth can emerge.

Love,
Jeannette
