Meet Rupal, a passionate Volunteer Leader with the Singapore Red Crossโ Red Cross Home for the Disabled (RCHD). With over 10 years of experience working with people with special needs and animals, Rupal joined the Red Cross to continue her passion for helping the vulnerable, using her time and skills to make a meaningful difference.
At RCHD, Rupal plays a vital role in guiding new volunteers through induction sessions and supporting Animal-Assisted Activities that help improve clientsโ motor skills and emotional well-being. She also organises birthday celebrations and special events, creating moments of joy and connection for the clients.
Rupal believes that those in care are deserving of love as anyone else. The smiles, gratitude, and interactions she receives in return are the greatest rewardsโand continue to inspire both her and the volunteers she leads to serve with compassion and purpose.
