We started our Greek wellness journey when we were introduced to the wonderful Greek red saffron. Over the years, we savour the taste of Greece by exploring all the wonderful aromatic Greek herbs, Greek olive oil, Greek herbal tea, Greek honey etc.
MEDITERRANEAN WELLNESS
We begin to dig deeper into the Mediterranean wellness, which has been known to have given their people good health and longevity.
Herbs, spices, fruits, vegetables, nuts, legumes, yoghurts, whole grains, fish, seafood, extra virgin olive oil and cheese have been in their daily diet for centuries. Many recipes have been passed down for generations in Greece and the Mediterranean region. These natural remedies seem to have many benefits like easing ailments and boosting the immune system.
We believe good produce encapsulate a healthy body and healthy mind.
WHY GREECE?
Greece, also known as the Hellenic Republic, is the birth of the western civilisation. Surrounded by the Aegean sea and Ionian sea, the country receives excellent weather condition, mediterranean climate and geographical formation that produces excellent agriculture products from wild herbs, flower, olive oil, honey, feta-cheese, wine etc that are rare and unique in its taste and potency.
Greece agriculture is commonly run by small-sized, family-owned dispersed units or producers from the Co-operative under the European Union supervision. Having met some of the local farmers and producers, they were some of the warmest people we’ve met that held great passion for what they do and how they do it. With this burning passion, they are able to produce high-quality products for our consumption.
What’s more is that there are many special and exotic herbs and spices that are uniquely Greece such as PDO Krokos Kozanis Red Saffron, Chios Mastiha, Kalamata Olive and many more.
