Magnesium are important and needed for our body to form protein, fatty acid and bone. Not getting enough Magnesium may results in numerous health issues and to name just a few: muscle weakness, irregular heartbeat, leg cramps. The symptoms includes headaches, constipation, chest pains and to the extreme, personality changes!
Magnesium can be found in dark leafy vegetables, legumes and grains. Besides these, we can obtain Magnesium from Pumpkin Seed Kernels, Almonds and Cashews. Pumpkin Seed Kernels has the highest Magnesium per serving per oz, followed by Almonds and Cashews. So if one doesn't like to eat dark leafy vegetables, these three are very excellent alternatives! It is just so simple to add these to our meals, for example: oats, cereal, salads. or add them to bake cookies. They are very nutritious and convenient as snacks too! Definitely natural and healthier than man make tidbits like keropok, nachos or potato chips!

Potassium deficiency can leads to many health issues and to name a few: nausea, hyper tension, irregular heartbeat, irritability, wheezing and asthma and even fatigue. Do avoid taking too much salt in our diet as it can lower potassium store in our body. So can we take potassium salt as substitute for salt instead? Though potassium have lesser sodium but taking too much of potassium salt will have negative consequences like nausea, vomiting, and even cardiac arrest.
The best would be to obtain potassium from natural food like Dried Apricots, Prunes and Dried Golden Raisins. Good news is that it impossible to get overdose of potassium from natural sources!
A word of caution though, those who have chronic kidney disease should limit potassium intake because the kidneys are not able to properly process excess potassium. As such, it is best to seek doctor's advise on daily intake of potassium.

Almond milk is really delicious, nutritious and great for preventing early ageing. It's rich antioxidants properties such as vitamin E, helps to combat inflammation and stress and may reduce the risk of cancer. It improves and healing other skin problems like discoloration, dryness, hyperpigmentation and dullness.

How to make Almond milk:
1. SOAK raw almonds in a glass bowl fully cover with water. Leave overnight, then drain and rinse them.
2. Use a high powered blender to BLEND the almonds with 4 cups of fresh, cold water. Don't add sugar but you may add a splash of vanilla extract, a pinch of salt for flavor. To sweeten it, add maple syrup or honey to it. Or you may prefer it to be unsweetened! Blend the mix on high for 2 minutes and until it’s creamy and smooth.
3. Then use a nut-milk bag or cheesecloth to STRAIN the liquid into a bowl.
Pour the almond milk into an airtight container. It can be stored in the fridge for up to 3 days in the fridge. Of course, drinking it fresh will be the best!

Regardless of whether tomatoes are classified as a fruit or a vegetable, it is important to know that they have a powerful carotenoid called lycopene. It is twice as powerful as beta-carotene and it what gives tomatoes it's red color. Also, lycopene in tomatoes may help to prevent heart disease and prostate cancer. Since only men has prostate gland and therefore, tomatoes should be included in our diet.

Yesterday, when I delivered an order to a customer, I was in for a pleasant surprise! I didn't expect it and I really appreciate her kindness. She used some of my products to make them into CNY goodies - make of pumpkin seeds, almonds flakes, black and white sesame seeds (see pics). It tasted great and it warms my heart! We know that there are many benefits associated with Moringa Oleifera leaf powder, Turmeric powder & Ginger powder. Recently, I did a little experiment on myself and to my surprise, I had improvements! I had terrible numbness in my hands especially during the early hours of the morning and it woke me up. Also, my right hand ring finger is terribly stiff (I guessed it is arthritis). What I did was to put about one tbsp each of these powders, add hot water, stirred and drink. Well, after 3 days, these symbols has lessens and are more bearable. I can't say it will work for everybody because our body makeup differs one from one another. However, these are God given herbs, readily available to help us in this modern era! So, if anyone have the same problem as I do, maybe try out in moderation and monitor to see the progress. However, I would like to add a disclaimer, try at your own risk!

Black Beans are healthy beans because they contains phytochemicals and therefore, helps prevent cancer and our cells from damage as they are high in antioxidants too! We Chinese loved using Black Beans in our soups, stir fry with beef and so on. Worthy of mentioning is that cooking black beans with pork ribs soup is excellent for replenishing blood cells for menstruating women. It is also beneficial for men due to excellent of source of protein!
