Magnesium are important and needed for our body to form protein, fatty acid and bone. Not getting enough Magnesium may results in numerous health issues and to name just a few: muscle weakness, irregular heartbeat, leg cramps. The symptoms includes headaches, constipation, chest pains and to the extreme, personality changes!
Magnesium can be found in dark leafy vegetables, legumes and grains. Besides these, we can obtain Magnesium from Pumpkin Seed Kernels, Almonds and Cashews. Pumpkin Seed Kernels has the highest Magnesium per serving per oz, followed by Almonds and Cashews. So if one doesn't like to eat dark leafy vegetables, these three are very excellent alternatives!
