The life of seafarers is very tough. Months away from home and lacking many of the conveniences that we take for granted onshore. One of these conveniences are how we can place orders online and see our products arrive the next day. This is why my team and I have launched www.shipsuppliesdirect.com - "Shopping At Sea Made Easy"

We want to greatly increase the convenience offered to seafarers in purchasing their own personal items through our e-commerce system (electronics, healthcare products, snacks etc). We now have thousands of items and can deliver right up to ships, even in anchorage in Singapore. Best of all, our prices are as if they were buying onshore! No more wasting shore leave going to shops onshore to buy basic items!

We have already done several deliveries with 100% fulfillment to ships in both anchorage and terminals. We are also working with several ship-chandlers, agents and logistics providers to scale and are among the finalist for the Smart Port Challenge 2018, supported by MPA.
