About the course site:
Malaysia Johor Saleng Eco Village Course Site is approximately 35km away from Singapore custom border.
This hired course site is surrounded by tropical gardens, a vegetable farm and green fields. It is used regularly for up to 40 students. The main lodge of the farm property is used for female students and has several shared dorms. Another building is used for male students. The main hall is air-conditioned. Courses here are organised by Johor Vipassana Meditation Society.

As we approach the 10th anniversary of the passing of respected teacher S. N. Goenka, it is worth reflecting on these words spoken about him more than two decades ago.

A 1-Day Old student course will be held on this Saturday to commemorate his passing.

We are delighted that after some years we have been able to conduct
1 3day course for old students (female only)
1 ten day course (female only)
2 ten day course (for males & females)

This photograph is the recently concluded course (ended today 13/08/2023)
A total of 37 females and 24 males participated in this course.

All the courses were held back to back in St. John's Island. The Dhamma servers did an excellent job of ensuring that the courses ran smoothly as did the conducting ATs.

After a long time, Vipassana Singapore held three courses in succession at St John's island, Singapore. A 3 day course for old students preceded the 10day courses which were held on the following dates:
5th July-16th July (female only course)
19th July--30 July
2nd August - 13th August (currently underway)
