Looking back, it was a choice that I made and it was fairly easy to not be greedy after Chinese New Year. After eating too much kinda also feel sick.

Thru that somehow I created the habit of following planned meals with meal supplements.

The truth is after reaching my desired body shape I been slacking off on the diet and reduced the exercise routines and intensity.

Guess what, fats has crawled back and I have gain back 3kg to 4kg. Time to return to the proper nutrition diet and exercises.

Am aiming to put on at least 5kg of muscles while losing the fats.

Losing fats and gain muscles is another level of discipline. Have been slowly reconditioning my body the past month.

Serious training starts tmr. This picture reminded me of being discipline to following the plan. Who else want to and is ready to lose weight and fats? Let me know how I may assist you.

You probably heard Health is Wealth right?

Other than understanding that medical bills can wipe out all savings, I really didn't get this saying. Until, I started to relook at health from another point of view.

We all like positive interest and the compounding effect of growth of our wealth and investments.

And we would probably get uncomfortable or stressed out if the debts on loans and credit cards are not cleared and the interest builds up rapidly.

Let's assume that in a situation that one has some debt, it may take him/her to commit to a job, work and pay it off and also putting some aside to grow.

This process of change is basically bringing the negative balance to a positive one.

While most of us may see this easily when it is about money, we may not view health in the same way. Perhaps we choose not to acknowledge or face it the same way.

Well, with food so heavily advertised to us, it has evolved from a survival necessity to a make belief lifestyle.

How can we resist a bountiful, colour coordinated and well plated dish with alluring scents and crispy food reviews?

Sometimes our senses are so seduced that we may even start to salivate before even having the opportunity to place the food in the mouth.

So how does this relate health to wealth?

We fall prey into the seductive illusion because of greed. We probably end up eating more than we need, with lesser nutrition food and increased calories naturally we are putting in more debt as our 'fat bank' grows.

Did you know that this 'fat bank' rewards deposit with interest too. The difference is: not many of us bother to check the scale regularly. The scale will reveal the interest thru weight, fat % and visceral fat %.

Even without weighing, most actually realise it by sense of touch. Like mmm..'hey the jeans seems smaller, I used to be able to fit well.'

Fat compounding effect is quite deceiving too, it starts a little by size then hardness. So it could be misleading to believe muscle might have built up.

Generally, 'fat interest' comes in the form of poor blood circulation, more toxins build up, more fat build up as toxins are dissolve n hidden in fats. This cycle hardens the fats too.

The Health Bank, on the other hand also provides interest too, it comes in the form of muscle building, more efficient breakdown of food and generating new healthy cells.

With new healthy cells, on the surface, one will start looking more refreshed, younger and feel more energetic to deal with life more positively.

So with proper nutrition and exercise, everyone can choose to be healthier. So which bank would you want interest from?

The gym seems to be crowded.

Perhaps it is the excitement of the new year resolution of getting a fitter body.

Perhaps it is the guilt of over eating...

Perhaps it is pressured by the clothes getting tighter.

Whatever it is, STOP!

Unless you been exercising, or got a professional to guide you, I would not suggest you start off by going into rigorous exercises.

Injuries will come in and the whole motivation of wanting to get fitter will frizzle out very quickly.

I suggest you start by intermittent fasting, eating more fibre, less carbs and oily stuff. Learn the right posture of exercises and go into them slowly first. Start by building a habit.

That is what I did last year at the beginning, then after building a foundation then I did a progressive turbo charged methods to drop more than 20kg plus of fats.

Progressive dropping an average of 2kg per month and not having a rebound even thru massive feasting during recent festive period.

If you are concerned about cost, the good news is it be almost what you are spending on food right now best part it almost has a 0 craving system.

Time doesn't need to be an hour in fact you can probably start off with 2 x 10mins sessions each day.

I will be compiling some exercise videos for you and it should be ready in a couple of weeks. If you want to jump start quickly and ready to commit to your health goals.

Drop a pm saying 'I am ready!"

1st Breakthroughs for 2019!

I Ran till the sun rised...

Bonus Share for 2019
*Simple winning mindsets you can adopt.*
*How Success motivates success.*

After all the festive feasting, I didn't go running straight away, I eased back into the start of my diet by balancing what's left over during the festive multiple feasting sessions and meal replacement with fresh fibres.

I started simple conditioning exercises to "reoil" the body to get back into my routine. I have not done any HIIT paced exercise but did do the moves in a slower pace.

1st breakthru waking up at 5am..to pack for my retreat later.

2nd breakthru getting out of the house to warm up run before the the sun rose. I started running about 6.30am. (Bet some of you thought I ran from last night.) 😂

This is part of framing my own little win.

Getting up early and doing exercises, I started this new habit last December to prepare for this year.

I didn't jump into my routine immediately after the festive celebrations as I didn't want to sustain any injuries as that will set me back on my health goals this year.

With an winning start already, I got my 3rd win, I managed to clock my personal best per km and overall run timing today.

I have been a late sleeper by choice most of my life. I couldn't understand why people would want to get up early to do exercises.

Now I do.

If you had 3 early victories for the day, what mindset do you think you might carry through the day?

After a heavy dinner last night.

The balance is to have a day where important nutrients is replenished to the body and fibre is introduced to help flush clean the gut and expel what is not needed.

So started the day with prebiotic shake with pineapple and Israel grapefruit.

Had a heavy lunch of fibre and protein of wholewheat spaghetti with green peas, tomatoes, slices of chicken breast, Prawns and crab.

For dinner it be the shake again.

Is this diet really so difficult to do?

Eat what u want for lunch and feed the body what it needs for breakfast and dinner.

Some food from last night.
Picture of my morning shake and my lunch...

Why does this diet work?
Stay tuned to find out more.

I have seen this slogan a few times but only appreciated it more today.

I don't know about you, but for me it is always easy to start, but the interest may last for about a week or 2?

Then the challenge of sticking with a system takes place. Am glad I have stuck to a weight loss program that has gotten me back my health and in process actually reverse age myself.

Maybe because within a week, I saw improvements.

Maybe because there is a variation of programs I engage in my growth progress.

Maybe because I changed my environment to those that are more active and health conscious (but not the super crazy type)

Maybe it was my fear of getting sick and have to not only pay for future expensive medical expenses but needing to still suffer under operations, injections and medication.

Maybe I decided to practise disciplining myself.

At least these are the possible 'whys' I maintained on the program.

If broken down into steps, things are taken like what the slogan says. I found that it is quite possible to do. Start, Complete, Repeat. I added Review and Adjust if needed.

These process can be applied to any process and not just weight loss. I been coaching others in trading and aspects of life. This year I am relearning things myself through improving my own health and wellness.

Constant learning, exploration, testing and reviews are necessary to improve oneself.

Patience is also needed...

I know we are living in a super fast paced world and attention span is low. If you are still reading this, you are a rare 10% that may benefit from this post.

We often want things now or yesterday. In reality, a tree isn't grown overnight. Likewise there is no 1 pill or solution that will reverse a condition that you built up over years or decades.

However, progress can be compounding, what I mean by that is as long you build it up. Everything works together. It took me less than a year to regain 20 years of health back. I reckon that is a pretty good investment I made with my time, effort and money.

If this is something you can relate to, let me know if you need assistance to get started on this journey.
