One of my favourite things to do - herb picking.
It reminds me of my childhood 💕 My mum used to grow lots of herbs in her garden. She also used to take us to the forest to forage for flowers, herbs and berries.

What a treat finding all this goodness and having it in our beetroot, pomegranate and avocado salad 🤩 wood sorrel for Vit C, wild mint to improve digestion and immunity and red clover for women’s health.

Why do some people find it easier to bounce back when they fall off their path?

In general there are two types of people.
People who fall down, then build and move forward, and fall again, build and move again and again.
The second type of people are the ones who when they fall down they connect with their roots and values which propels them forward much further and faster than others who put all their energy into fixing and building.

There is so much building in my life at the moment - super exciting times 🤩
Being on holidays back in Europe with my family, grounding myself and connecting with my roots is the best thing ever to provide a strong and clear base for my near future projects 😎

I hear you say: I can’t travel back home anytime I want to.
Connecting with your roots can be easily done by bringing on the positive feelings through looking at photos, smelling familiar scents or visualisation (this one is my fave - I visualise almost every night my fave memories of my childhood back in Europe).

So remember, connecting with yourself is just as important as building your life.

A friendly reminder that whatever you do is better and ALWAYS energises you in comparison with doing NOTHING 💯

If you are regularly tired AND you regularly say no to movement you are digging a hole for yourself - not only you are allowing your body to deteriorate.
You are also reinforcing an unuseful behavioural pattern of thinking that affects your living.

That once when you interrupt this pattern and you do exercise feels weird, right? That’s because you have interrupted your usual autopilot AND you are on your way to create a NEW - more useful autopilot 🤩

What are some of the most common excuses people make for not being active?
Lack of time, lack of support, the gym is too far, the friend bailed on me again…..

The environment, your support network or external resources will always change - you can’t control them.

What you can control is your intentions.
Intentions lead to thoughts.
Thoughts lead to actions.
Actions lead to feelings.
Feelings lead to intentions …

Being intentional means setting a specific intention for a specific feeling/state in a specific context.
For instance I want to have a weekend filled with energy and movement.
The above intention leads you to thinking about a VARIETY of ways to be active which lead to actions (walking instead of driving, playing in the garden instead of watching tv, going for a walk instead with a friend of chatting on the phone) and these actions bring on specific feelings.

Intentions create patterns.
Patterns create behaviours.
Behaviours create lifestyle.

Fermented veggies on the go!
My first time using a coconut water kefir.

The fizz and bubbles are so morish to watch - even for my boys (4yo + 17mo) who are already trying the brine as they love fermented foods.

What’s the best part?
Kids learn from us.
I learned from my mum and grandma.
My boys are learning from me.
As my partner said last night: our boys will remember those ‘food making’ moments with their mum forever 🤩
I am filled with 💕

One of the benefits of doing ice bathing is that when you stay in a hotel with a pool that’s not heated in Western Australia in winter time you are the only one enjoying it 🤣

What a score. The pool is right outside our room and my partner and I are the only one enjoying it - my guess is the water temp is around 10-14 degrees but I could be wrong. Maybe it’s colder coz I am getting that lovely burny feeling on my skin after 5mins or so of swimming.
