As a 2025 Pan-African Organization for Health, Education and Research (POHER) scholar representing the northern African region, I would like to share my exciting wealth of experience that I gained from POHER.

Earlier this year, I had the opportunity to attend a major scientific conference in South Africa as a POHER–AHPBCC Science & Communication Fellow, where I attended hands-on practical sessions of the preconference and insightful lectures, among others. That experience expanded my worldview, connected me with talented researchers and healthcare professionals, and strengthened my commitment to advancing global health.

None of this would be possible without donors who believe in the power of education, mentorship, and opportunity.
