Nile Kings Specialist Hospital wishes to clarify the public reports surrounding the health of Gen. Augustino Maduot Parek, who was admitted yesterday morning.

Following medical evaluation by our Internal Medicine Consultant, Dr. Deng Deng Atak, there was no evidence whatsoever of poisoning in the case of Gen. Maduot. He remained under our care until today, during which his condition was stable and steadily improving. This afternoon, he was transferred to Nairobi for continued medical observation while already recovering well.

The Hospital Management is concerned by the misleading reports circulated by some media houses particularly Hot in Juba claiming that Gen. Maduot suffered food poisoning. These claims were never verified with the attending doctors, hospital administration, or the family.

We urge all media outlets to seek confirmation through the proper channels, including the Director General, Medical Director, the attending Consultant Physician, or authorized family members. This ensures accurate reporting and prevents unnecessary public alarm.
