Dr. Albino Bol sponsors a boy who went viral after saying he collects bottles to help his family

Dr. Albino Bol Dhieu, the former National Minister of Youth and Sports, has sponsored a young boy named Kuel Majok also known as U-7, after finding a video shared on WhatsApp.

Shared in the Aweil Intellectual Forum WhatsApp group by Garang Garang Mou on March 14, with a caption “Well-wishers should support him, walai. This little boy is a genius,” the video caught the attention.

As a group member, Dr. Albino Bol commented asking for the boy's details and contact information, an inquiry that Garang forwarded to Thiep Deng who recorded the video, interviewing the boy in Mayom Adhal of Aweil North County.

In the video, Kuel is seen carrying plastic bottles and confidently responding to interview questions, saying he collects and sells them to support his family.

On March 16, 2026, Garang who happened to connect the two, confirmed “Dr. Bol generously promised to sponsor the boy's school fee. In fact, the young boy went for school registration today with his support.”

He further appreciated Dr. Albino Bol Dhieu for his generosity and support in helping this young boy, Kuel Majok.

“May God bless him with more so that he [Dr. A lbino Bol] can continue supporting the promising young leaders and talented ones like Kuel,” Garang said in conclusion.

To whoever is spreading lies about a young lady,

Using someone's image without consent is SERIOUS. Combining her pic with false info is defamation. You're hurting her reputation and dignity.

STOP IT NOW.

This isn't just a joke or a game. It's someone's life you're playing with. The media needs to act responsibly and stop spreading this fake stuff.

If you don't stop, there will be CONSEQUENCES. Legal action is real.

Sultan Kur Achien passed on this morning in Juba Medical Complex ❤️‍🩹
The prominent chief Sultan Kur Achien from Marial Bai Ayat East was flown from Aweil to Juba yesterday for further medication after he was in a critical condition and he was immediately taken to JMC where he was placed under the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) but unfortunately succumbed at 6:00 am.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this difficult time and may his soul rest in peace 🕊️
