Both mangoes are growing on the same branch of the same tree. One is already ripe, while the other still needs more time to ripen.

Through these mangoes, nature imparts an important lesson: just because others seem to achieve success before us doesn't mean we're failures. It simply means that our time has not yet arrived.

Therefore, we must remain patient, stay resilient, and avoid giving in to frustration.

We could be just a short time away from reaching our own moment of success.

Remember, our time will come, but it takes patience, persistence, and faith!

Deng Bol Aruai Bol, the Hunting Hyena in Lion Territory

By Aluel Salva Kiir

There is an African proverb that says, “The hyena cannot hunt in the lion’s territory” because lions and hyenas are not partners in fact, they are natural hunting rivals, who are fiercely competing for food and territory control often, they kill each other before the hunting period even begins, the day a hyena tries to hunt beside a lion is the day it signs its own death unknowingly, while lions are dominant predators in forests, even a united clan of hyenas cannot challenge or overwhelm a pride of lions without facing brutal confrontation.

This proverb serves as a reminder to, Parasites Deng Bol Aruai Bol, that Dinka men cannot hunt alongside Nuer men in the struggle for liberation objective, this is not merely my own opinion — history has proven it, the Nuer men are natural political rivals to Dinka men, competing fiercely for power and leadership control, whenever they have attempted to share one struggle, one vision, or one goal, it has ended in betrayal, conflict, and bloodshed, special in the Upper Nile Region, where the Nuer communities have historically been dominant and majority, I believe that even a united clan of Dinka in Upper Nile Region from Bor, Padang, Ngok, Agar, and Rek Dinka cannot challenge or overpower a Nuer pride for leadership control.

Let’s speak based on historical facts specially During the Anya-Nya period, the Nuer united with the Dinka, particularly in the Upper Nile Region, to resist the Sudanese government in Khartoum, what was the outcome of that Unity?

They turned their guns on each other, leading to the breakdown of the Anya-Nya movement, this enmity did not end there just like that, Special When the SPLA/SPLM emerged to fight against the Khartoum government, the same Nuer joined the SPLM with thousands of their fighters not to support the vision of the movement, but to dismantle its leadership, they viewed it as a Dinka organization rather than a national liberation front.

They even aligned with Arab forces in Sudan to oppose the SPLM leadership simply because it was led by Dinka men, this betrayal led to another tribal conflicts between the Nuer and Dinka, resulting in thousands of deaths and millions displaced, particularly from Bor communities, the hometown of Dr. John Garang de Mabior, and i believe the Nuer did not attack Bor because it was the nearest Dinka territory by that time, instead they attacked because they believed Dr. John Garang de Mabior was from Dinka Bor, and this history is applying directly to Parasites Deng Bol Aruai Bol’s new call for self-government.

I truly believe that, the Nuer will support you with both militarily, financially, and morally but not because they believe in your call or support your vision, they will support you only to dismantle your leadership and throw you away with your wheelchair, because they believe that you are Dinka, Just as they betrayed Dr. John Garang de Mabior, during the formation of the SPLM, they will do the same to you, your movement will not end in victory, but in tears, chaos, and destruction and the consequences of your actions will be paid by the very innocent Bor communities, because I believe the Nuer will never miss the direction of Bor Town, just as they did it when they turned their guns on the founding father of SPLM Dr John Garang de Mabior in 1991.

The same history has repeated Itself in 2013 after South Sudan gained it independence, the same Nuer communities began to challenges and demanding the power instead of waiting for elections, that impatience and hunger for dominance almost destroyed the country, leading to another round of political violence and displacement among South Sudanse Communities, this same pattern will follow you, Deng Bol Aruai, the very democracy you claim to call for in South Sudan today will not be respected by those who you are trying to please, they will question and challenge you even before your arrival to that leadership, and it will not end well by that time, just as it never did before when we got our independence

I believe Deng Bol Aruai is aware of this history and has even witnessed it firsthand, but despite these facts, out of nowhere, a Man from Bor the very heart of Dr. Garang’s legacy now echoes the call for self-government in the Upper Nile Region, as if he has forgotten the same soil soaked with Dinka blood, a very community despised by the Nuer cannot lead the same Nuer in a united government, and i believe your dream of self-government has already failed before it begins, because you cannot plant seeds of division and expect to harvest unity In it roots, you cannot accuse your own Dinka brothers in Bahr el Ghazal of destroying South Sudan and then claim to speak for the nation, this claim comes from a man who lacks the vision to lead with honesty, you are free to make such claims, but you must understand that when you rise against your own roots, you as a community, your weakening yourself before your enemies, I believe the Dinka nation is built on unity, strength, and sacrifice, from the bush to independence, Dinka sons and daughters have shed their blood for this land to be call off South Sudan.

We are a people of bravery, wisdom, and endurance, our power lies in unity, but when Dinka men allow themselves to be divided, misled, or used in different territories against one another, that strength weakens, a divided Dinka cannot lead with peace, and a Dinka who hunts with outsiders becomes prey in his own land, if you choose to betray that legacy, you will not only lose your people’s respect, instead you will lose your identity within the community and when that happens, do not ever set foot in South Sudan to seek help or refuge from its government.

There is a saying proverb that said “If you blame fools, the fools will still blame you” go ahead and make your claims, but be prepared for the consequences of such declaration and in my next article, I will question your so-called “vision” and the reasons behind your misguided dream for self-government in the Upper Nile Region, get ready Mr wheelchair
