Hyaluronic Acid Injections for Knee Osteoarthritis

What Are Hyaluronic Acid Injections?

When osteoarthritis develops, the quality and amount of this fluid can decrease, leading to pain, stiffness, and reduced mobility. A hair transplant is a procedure where hair is taken from a part of your head that has thick, healthy hair (usually the back or sides) and moved to an area where the hair is thin or bald. One common method is called FUE (Follicular Unit Extraction). In this method, the doctor removes tiny groups of hair (1 to 4 hairs at a time) using a very small tool and places them into the bald or thinning area. This method does not leave a big scar—only very small marks that heal over time—so you can keep your hair short after recovery. The procedure is done with local anesthesia, so you stay awake but do not feel pain. It can take a few hours depending on how much hair is being transplanted. After the procedure, you might have mild swelling, small scabs, or slight numbness for a few days. It is normal for the transplanted hair to fall out in the first few weeks. New hair usually starts growing after 3 to 4 months, and the full results can be seen in about 10 to 18 months.

A stroke (also known as a cerebrovascular accident) occurs when the brain does not get the blood supply that it needs, such as through the blockage or rupture of an artery.

Blood carries oxygen and important nutrients around the body for proper functioning. If brain cells and tissue do not get enough blood supply, they become damaged and die. Brain cells can die very quickly without enough blood – up to 1.9 million brain cells can die every minute.

Early treatment for stroke is critical – the longer a stroke remains untreated, the greater the chance of stroke-related brain damage.

There are two major types of stroke: ischaemic and haemorrhagic. An ischaemic stroke is when blood flow to the brain is interrupted, eg, when a blood clot blocks a brain artery. A haemorrhagic stroke is when a blood vessel or artery in the brain bursts, and there is a leakage of blood into the brain. Both types of stroke share the same possible signs, symptoms and effects.

A whole abdomen ultrasound is a simple and painless test that uses sound waves to take pictures of the inside of your belly. During the test, a gel is put on your stomach and a small device is moved over your skin to create images of your organs. It usually takes about 20–30 minutes and does not involve needles or pain. The scan checks organs in the upper belly, such as the liver, gallbladder, spleen, pancreas, kidneys, bile ducts, and the main blood vessel (aorta), and sometimes organs in the lower belly, including the bladder, appendix, uterus and ovaries in women, or the prostate in men. What is PM2.5?

Polycystic o***y syndrome (PCOS) is a problem with hormones that happens during the reproductive years. If you have PCOS, you may not have periods very often. Or you may have periods that last many days. You may also have too much of a hormone called androgen in your body.

With PCOS, many small sacs of fluid develop along the outer edge of the o***y. These are called cysts. The small fluid-filled cysts contain immature eggs. These are called follicles. The follicles fail to regularly release eggs.

The exact cause of PCOS is unknown. Early diagnosis and treatment along with weight loss may lower the risk of long-term complications such as type 2 diabetes and heart disease.
