การฝังเข็มนอกจากจะช่วยอาการปวดแล้ว ยังสามารถช่วยการรักษาอัมพาตใบหน้า หรือ bell palsy ได้ โดยควบคู่กับการรักษาแผนปัจจุบัน
ตัวอย่างผู้ป่วยที่เป็นอัมพาตใบหน้าหลังจากการติดเชื้อแบคทีเรียชนิดหนึ่ง โดยเป็นภาพถ่ายก่อนและหลังรักษาไปเพียง3ครั้ง แม้ไม่หายสนิทแต่เห็นการเปลี่ยนแปลงไปในทางที่ดีขึ้นค่ะ
Acupuncture also has a role for bell palsy when you combined treatment it's shorten and lessen your symptom.
Here is an example of bell palsy case. Before and just after 3 treatments not complete course ,progression is better and better

ฝังเข็มหน้าใสจริงหรือ?
การฝังเข็มจะไปกระตุ้นการไหลเวียนโลหิตแล้วก็กระตุ้นการแลกเปลี่ยนออกซิเจน ของผิวกับเส้นเลือดทำให้ผิวแข็งแรงขึ้น ผิวดูสดใสขึ้น การอักเสบของสิวความร้อนลดลงก็จะทำให้ฝ้าแลดูจางลง มีการสร้างคอลลาเจนเพิ่มขึ้น ผิวหนังจึงมีความเต่งตึง
