Includes Flow Motion, Dance4Joy and Chakradance (a well known therapeutic dance modality). Flow Motion is an intuitive movement and self-healing journey, accompanied by a range of music of varying speeds and beats to help you connect with and explore different aspects of yourself. Some of the benefits include: releasing tension and stress, developing a stronger connection with your body and the present moment, gently overcoming limiting patterns of movement/being in the world, gaining increased self awareness, and opening up to increased levels of freedom, health and joy! It's recommended to move with your eyes closed or half closed to help you stay focused on your inner experience. Each class starts with a guided warm-up and then moves into your own intuitive experience. Dance4Joy follows a similar format to Flow Motion, but is a more fun, light-hearted version, offered on an occasional basis. In this class, there is the (optional) opportunity to interact with other participants for a portion of the class if you would like. Chakradance was created by Natalie Southgate, and is an eyes-closed, intuitive movement healing practice, with a unique focus on one or more of the main energy centres (centres of consciousness). Each class is accompanied by specially-created, healing, chakra-resonant music, and gentle verbal guidance to take you on a journey deep into yourself, your subconscious and different areas of your consciousness.
