What Is Prominent Ear Surgery (Otoplasty)?

Prominent ear deformity occurs when the antihelical fold in the upper part of the ear is insufficiently developed or when the conchal cartilage in the middle portion of the ear is larger than normal. This condition is conge***al, medically harmless, and does not affect hearing.
