Crowds have gathered in Istanbul as the Hagia Sofia opened for Friday prayers for the first time since Turkish authorities ruled it could be CONVERTEED into a Mosque from being a Church. About 1000 people were allowed in through security checkpoints, while others laid out mats outside. Built 1500 years ago, the Unesco World heritage site was originally a Cathedral, then became a mosque and most recently, a museum.

It circulates vital ocean nutrients that sustain fish population, and humans all over the world. At a time when vital ecosystems are impacted by a warming planet, continues inaction is not an option.

A number of leading ocean conservation organisations the Antarctic and Southern oceans Coalition , , , , and are united together to advocate for action this year to protect Antarctica for the future generations.

Carmen Barrera has been fishing in the waters around the Canary Islands for almost a decade. But only in the recent months has she noticed the large number of plastic gloves and other items of personal protective equipment floating in the water or caught in her nets.

“It worried me a lot ”, Ms Barrera told from her Tenerife home.

The effect of Coronavirus pandemic on the battle to reduce plastic waste is still a war to barge through. We as humans need to understand that this is an ecosystem we live in as we are dependent on each other. Which is why we need to respect other forms of life as well and respecting among us human race.

In order to save ourselves from this pandemic we cover ourselves from getting infected , but we failed to fall through the plan of saving the world as we do not dispose our PPE in the most effective way possible.

Chinese rocket blasts off to Mars.

This is the lift-off of the Long March 5 rocket from the Wenchang spaceport on Hainan island. It was carrying a six-wheeled robot called Tianwen-1, or “Questions to Heaven” which is set to study the surface of Mars. Tianwen-1 is one of three missions setting off to Mars in the space of 11 days. On Monday, the United Arab Emirates launched its Hope satellite, and next week its the turn of NASA. Tianwen-1 will still have to make it through the “seven minute terror” - the time taken for a spacecraft to make the trip from the top of Mars atmosphere to the ground.

The body of suspected COVID_19 victims lies in an Indonesia hospital. After the patient died, nurses wrapped the body in layers of plastics and applied disinfectant to help prevent the spread of the virus.

This photo was taken to raise awareness of the danger of the CORONA VIRUS, to appreciate the work of the medical staff in Indonesia and around the world who risk their lives to save ours, and to remember that we must remain steadfast and united in the face of this pandemic of our lifetime.
