Jehue Thomas, the eight-year-old Arima boy who underwent life-saving cancer treatment in India, is back home and eagerly looking forward to starting online classes next month and returning to physical classes in September.

We continue to pray. Jehue misses home as he has his first overnight stay at the hospital today to be followed by a bone marrow aspirate in the morning. Yesterday a battery of tests were done. Things are sailing smoothly in India at this point. Please continue to assist this child. May God bless you all.

Our boy is finished with day 1 of his visit to the Apollo Hospital in India! It was a long and tiring one. Lots of information. But we are strong and walk with faith not by sight! However, he still needs help. 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🎗

Jehue and his mom arrived in Amsterdam around 4:00am this morning after departing from Trinidad at 6:00pm yesterday afternoon. Jehue has not slept. The jetlag is real. They later boarded another airplane and are currently enroute to India. This is a win for the Thomas family but also a win for the children with cancer across Trinidad and Tobago. Many times the situation seems hopeless when you receive this type of diagnosis but it is cases Iike these that spark hope in the hearts of parents whose children have cancer. Cancer can knock on anyone's door at any time.
