Interventional Radiology employs the use of image guidance methods to access the deep interstices of most organs and organ systems. Through different techniques, they can treat certain conditions through the skin that might otherwise require surgery. This page is to inform patients that needs any of these special procedures done. We can answer questions and also make appointments.

Honored to present “Detect It, Treat It, Beat It,” at the South Cancer Support Group Building, in collaboration with the Trinidad & Tobago Medical Association (T&TMA) and the Caribbean College of Family Physicians (CCFP) Trinidad.

It was a wonderful session discussing how radiology helps in early detection and better outcomes for breast cancer. 💪✨

Bile duct blockage due to cancer of the bile ducts (cholangiocarcinoma) resulting in jaundice can sometimes be difficult to treat and even more challenging to get a tissue sample. As Interventional Radiologists we are sometimes called upon to relieve such blockages with drainage tubes, while concurrently get some tissue for diagnosis with a tiny brush.
