We are honored to have participated in the 8th Healthcare Expo Taiwan 2024, held in Taipei from December 5 to 8. This groundbreaking event showcased Taiwan’s remarkable advancements in biomedicine, research, technology, and innovation, featuring cutting-edge medical devices poised to address diverse global healthcare needs. The four-day expo serves as a vital platform for us to stay updated on the latest healthcare market trends, explore innovative medical products, seek potential collaboration opportunities, and reconnect with partners and peers in the industry. We are grateful to have taken part in this exceptional event and its key activities:
👨⚕️𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝟰𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝘀𝗶𝗮 𝗣𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘂𝗺 𝗼𝗻 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁
Our participation began with the Asia Pacific Forum on Precision Cancer Treatment, where we gained valuable insights, practical knowledge, and up-to-date guidance from both domestic and international physicians on advanced approaches to the precise treatment of lung and breast cancers. Asia faces the highest global lung cancer burden, with 65.7% of cases in Taiwan occurring among non-smokers.
Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS) was highlighted as an effective technology for analyzing tumor tissue or liquid biopsy samples to identify targeted mutations. These findings enable precision cancer treatment approaches based on a patient’s specific genetic profile. Common somatic mutations in lung cancers include alterations in the EGFR, KRAS, and TP53, genes. While breast cancer requires an integrated analysis involving DNA (e.g., PIK3CA, ESR1, BRCA1/2), RNA, proteomes (e.g., HER2), exosomes, and circulating tumor cells (CTCs). It was noted that many pertinent pathways in breast cancer do not have gene mutations. Additionally, circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) has proven valuable for detecting minimal residual disease (MRD) and predicting late recurrence.
While precision cancer treatments offer significant benefits to patients, all speakers indicated the challenges posed by high costs and limited health coverage. Critical decisions—such as selecting single-gene testing, limited panels, or whole-genome sequencing, as well as choosing between tissue-agnostic and tissue-informed therapies—require further consideration and development.

We had the privilege of meeting with an international buyer from South Africa, who engaged in a productive discussion about our products and potential market opportunities. After demonstrating our offerings, the buyer expressed interest in connecting us with individuals likely to benefit from our solutions.
We further discussed emerging trends in the African medical sector, identifying key market gaps for future business opportunities. The buyer also shared details about the products he is seeking, and we are pleased to explore sourcing these items from the Taiwanese market on his behalf, strengthening our global reach and contributing to healthcare advancement worldwide.

- Human-derived Exosomes: Emerging as a novel regenerative medicine therapy to treat a variety of conditions, such as skin wounds, bone disorders, and organs injuries or fibrosis.
- Smart Hospital Solutions: Leveraging Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) and telemedicine to improve healthcare quality and management efficiency.
