|2025 Annual Congress of Taiwan Society of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine|
Metas Biomedical had the privilege of participating in the 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗮𝗶𝘄𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝘂𝗹𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲 with our trusted suppliers, where we engaged with a wide range of highly respected medical professionals.
During the event, we were pleased to showcase the advanced medical device, the 𝗛𝗼𝗿𝘂𝘀 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲-𝗨𝘀𝗲 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗰𝗼𝗽𝗲, and received valuable hands-on insights from experienced physicians. Their clinical expertise helped us deepen our understanding of the product’s real-world application. We were grateful to learn that doctors expressed a high level of satisfaction with its performance, usability, and clinical value especially highlighting its 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗽𝗲𝗿, 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵-𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗾𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 to support the detection of subtle abnormalities in the airways.
Through live discussions and demonstrations, physicians shared how the Horus Bronchoscope is utilized across 𝗺𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝗰𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘀, enhancing our perspective from a practical, patient-care standpoint. Their insights were essential in confirming the Horus Bronchoscope’s relevance and effectiveness in modern airway management.
Physicians highlighted the use of single-use bronchoscopes in the following airway management procedures:
• High infection-risk cases
• Cancer interventions (commonly laser procedures)
• Consecutive phlegm suction
• Airway/bronchial stent placement
• Tracheostomy procedures
• Intensive Care Unit (ICU) settings
We are encouraged by the growing adoption of single-use bronchoscopes across major hospitals and clinical settings. These devices offer clear advantages for physicians, including 𝗶𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿, and 𝗿𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴, particularly in emergency and ICU settings. They are also well suited for 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 such as 𝗹𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, helping clinicians avoid costly camera damage to reusable equipment.
From a patient perspective, single-use bronchoscopes play a critical role in 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗹 by minimizing the risk of cross-contamination while delivering 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹-𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗱𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲. Together, these benefits contribute to safer procedures and improved overall patient outcomes.
We are grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with the medical community, learn from their clinical experience, and introduce the advancing solutions through our global distribution network. If you would like to learn more about how this single-use model supports safer and more effective patient care, please 𝗳𝗲𝗲𝗹 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝘂𝘀. We would be happy to share more details.
