Massage can improve diabetes? (Part II)

Blood circulation problems may affect anyone, at any age. Returning blood to the heart from lower parts of the body is hard work for the circulatory system Here are some helpful tips of massage for improving blood circulation throughout your body.

1. Rub your soles with each other for 5~10 minutes.
2. Press you soles and heels for 3~5 minutes.
3. Press your toes for 2~3 minutes.
4. Targeted foot-and-calf relief solutions increase blood flow in your legs and feet.

Massage can improve diabetes? (Part I)
Diabetes is a major cause of PAD (peripheral arterial disease), because it reduces the ability of the arteries to relax and limits vasodilation. Massage and specifically massage of the connective tissue has been shown in studies to reduce these symptoms and increase blood circulation. Furthermore, diabetic neuropathy can often result from peripheral arterial disease, resulting in pain, burning, itching, tingling, restless legs and a loss of reflexes. Research has shown that neuropathy symptoms were significantly reduced after receiving bodywork.
In several studies, those who received massage had lower levels of anxiety and the depression caused by dealing with the disease and its’ symptoms. Some people with diabetes report a drop in blood glucose of 20-40 mg/dl.

Before starting the massage, you need to communicate with the doctor.
