Upto 1.3 billion people worldwide have hypertension (high blood pressure); 25-30% of Ugandans have this disease; however upto 95% of those with hypertension have no symptoms; and as such 70% of the people with hypertension don't know they have it.
The way to know you have hypertension or not is to have your blood pressure measured at the nearest health facility or clinic.
