Kaitlyn McCollum Healing Faith Internship Amazing opportunity...God is calling me to spend my summer in Uganda as an intern for six weeks, working with the Healing Faith Uganda Ministry.

Hi, my name is Kaitlyn McCollum and I would love to share with you an amazing opportunity God has given me! I believe God is calling me to spend my summer on the mission field of Uganda, East Africa. For nearly a year, my heart has been over-flowing with the hope that some how, some way, I could return to Jinja. Now, God has opened the door for me to do that. This June, I am planning to return to Jinja as an intern for six weeks, working with the Healing Faith Uganda Ministry. I look forward to how God will work in and through me this summer, with your help. Thank you in advance for however God leads you to help. I am already planning to share my experiences with my partners upon my return, trusting it will be a blessing to you and others.

And just like that my time in Uganda "is finished". I can't believe how fast these 6 weeks have gone by. This summer was truly the experience of a lifetime! I fell in love with the culture and countryside. I know I am leaving a big piece of my heart here. I can't thank the Segner family and Healing Faith enough for doing everything they could to provide me with the full "Ugandan Experience". In my wildest dreams I never would have imagined getting to do and see all the things I did this summer.

$2...That's all of take to treat a person with malaria. How crazy is that?? People are dying everyday because of $2. That's less than a drink at Starbucks! How about $5? For $5 a family of 4 can sleep under a net in their home without the fear of being bit by a mosquito. Don't ever think you can't make a difference. All it takes is $2 to save a life and $5 to give a family a safe night's sleep!
