🌍 Food Security: Beyond Quantity to Safety
The FAO estimates that nearly 600 million people almost 1 in 10 globally fall ill each year after eating contaminated food. That’s more than pandemics, wars, and natural disasters combined.
For decades, hunger was framed around availability. Today, the crisis has evolved; unsafe production practices, chemicals, and GMOs are silently reshaping our food systems.
This forces us to ask:
Are we feeding nations or quietly endangering them?
