Autism shows up differently in every child, but here are some common signs to look out for:

🔹 Limited eye contact
🔹 Delayed speech or no speech
🔹 Prefers playing alone
🔹 Repeating words, sounds, or actions
🔹 Strong interest in certain objects (lining up toys, spinning items)
🔹 Struggles with changes in routine
🔹 Sensitive to sounds, lights, or textures
🔹 Doesn’t respond to their name
🔹 Difficulty expressing emotions or understanding others’ emotions
🔹 Unusual reactions to pain or touch

💙 Remember: Every child is unique. Not all children show the same signs, and early support can make a big difference.

Nicholas is 7 years old and doesn’t speak, but his world is full of stories. Every day, he walks into his autism school with curiosity and determination. Some days are hard—loud noises, new routines, or learning new skills can feel overwhelming—but Nicholas faces them with courage.

At school, he lines up his toy cars with precision, showing focus and creativity. He may not speak, but his smiles, gestures, and achievements speak volumes. With the support of his teachers and his loving family, Nicholas learns, grows, and celebrates each small victory—every clapped hand, every completed task, every new word he attempts.

Nicholas’ journey reminds us that progress isn’t always loud or fast. Sometimes, it’s quiet, steady, and full of heart. His story inspires us to be patient, kind, and to celebrate every unique way of learning and seeing the world. 💙
