“If you ask an economist what’s driven economic growth, it’s been major advances in things that mattered - the mechanization of farming, mass manufacturing, things like that. The problem is, our society is not organized around doing that.” ~ Larry Page

Our Story

The vision of our commercial farm in Kassanda District, Midwestern Uganda is to transform the local community through employment and education. We will pay local subsistence farmers an above-average wage to grow corn, beans, and vegetables on our land. They will learn farming skills that they can use on their own farms to increase production, and we will provide access to distributors and processing so that they can make a profit on the excess. Our farm will invest in the community by offering educational programs in the areas of literacy, nutrition, and health. We will work to protect our environment by growing indigenous, non-GMO species using organic methods, and recycle agricultural byproducts to produce cooking bricks.
