The Triple Elimination Conference in Africa is a conference scheduled to take place in Kampala, Uganda from July 21–23, 2025. The conference will focus on strategies and policies to eliminate HIV, hepatitis B, and syphilis in Africa. The Ministry of Health Uganda is hosting the conference.
The triple elimination initiative is a global effort to eliminate the mother-to-child transmission of HIV, syphilis, and hepatitis B. The initiative encourages countries to commit to eliminating the transmission of these diseases simultaneously. The initiative's goal is to improve health outcomes for mothers and children by taking a harmonized approach.

*Three Components*
1. *Hepatitis*: Reducing Hepatitis B&C cases and deaths to zero.
2. *HIV/AIDS Elimination*: Reducing new HIV infections and AIDS-related deaths to zero.
3. *SYPHILIS*: Reducing syphilis cases to zero.

1. *Prevention*: Promoting preventive measures such as awareness, vertical elimination program and vaccination.
2. *Diagnosis*: Improving access to affordable diagnostic tests and ensuring prompt treatment.
3. *Treatment*: Providing effective and affordable treatment and care for infected individuals.
4. *Surveillance*: Enhancing disease surveillance and monitoring.
5. *Community Engagement*: Engaging communities in prevention and control efforts.
