Our CEO, Ronald Musoke, recently met with the General Manager of Speed Insurance Company–South Sudan, Mr. Kokorom Jimmy, in Gulu City- Northern Uganda. The meeting reviewed the performance of our business to business (B2B) arrangement under the COMESA Yellow Card third party insurance programme, which enables South Sudan registered vehicles to enter the COMESA region, with Speed Insurance company as our key partner issuing the COMESA Yellow Cards in South Sudan.

The discussions covered current operational challenges & identified practical steps to improve efficiency, strengthen coordination & streamline transactions. We also aligned on developing realistic projections for 2026, focusing on operational stability, growth of the B2B portfolio & enhancing this line as a major revenue source for the COMESA National Bureau.

Additionally, both parties agreed to roll out a sensitization programme in 2026 for motorists, border authorities & other stakeholders involved in cross-border vehicle movement to ensure better awareness of their roles & the COMESA Yellow Card requirements.
