We took a bite out of the Big Apple at our Taste of Manhattan culinary event! 🍎🗽🚕

First we “rode” in a New York taxi and took in the sights.

Then we enjoyed cups of deli chicken soup, corned beef sandwiches with slaw on rye, a side of Waldorf salad and for dessert, a classic black and white cookie!

To top it off, we watched Manhattan a classic movie set in the city starring Woody Allen and Diane Keaton.

It was tea time at Quail Run Estates! We enjoyed a cuppa at our Afternoon Tea Social Series event.

We snacked on tea sandwiches and pastries as we listened to the harp. Piper the pied Harpist came and shared relaxing music with us as we sipped our tea. She even answered resident’s questions about her harp and how she discovered her passion for playing.

A big “Thank You! to Ashley from Associated Home Care for lending a hand in today’s festivities.

It was a perfect afternoon of music and community.

We took a trip up to British Columbia for our Taste of Victoria culinary event. 🍁

We enjoyed clam chowder, fish and chips with coleslaw and the iconic no-bake Canadian dessert, Nanaimo bars! To top it off, we watched the movie The Young Victoria in honor of the city's royal namesake.

A good time was had by all.
