For our MLK Service Project this year, we assembled blessing bags for homeless individuals in Springfield. In partnership with the Between Bridges Ministry we hope to get these bags with hand warmers, hats gloves and gators to our neighbors before the big snowstorm. Our residents who participated were surprised how much we accomplished in a short time working as a team. It feels good to give back to the community.

Inspired by the City of Brotherly Love, our Taste Philadelphia event featured local favorites: Philly cheesesteak sandwiches, crab fries, onion rings and tomato cucumber salad. And to top it all off, and we enjoyed a Philadelphia fluff cake. Residents absolutely loved the meal -- even down to the last dollop of whip cream.

This year, our Taste events are taking us on a tour of the U.S. and Canada. We can't wait to see – and taste – the cuisine from our destination next month!

Grab your boxing gloves and meet us at the top of the Philadelphia Museum of Art steps for a culinary experience inspired by the City of Brotherly Love.

Join us for Taste Philadelphia Tomorrow! -- January 22nd at noon.

Tomorrow’s menu will feature Philly cheese steaks and crab fries, paired with a themed dining atmosphere to make lunch a little more special. We hope to see you there.
