Single life doesn’t fit in married life.

The covenant of marriage means leaving old patterns behind (Genesis 2:24). When we keep living like we’re single—whether it’s reckless nights out, secret DMs, or prioritizing friends over our spouse—we leave the door open for mistrust and temptation.

But when we cut those things off? Trust grows. Intimacy deepens. Unity strengthens.
