Yesterday our very own Kenny Lambert celebrated 5 years of the Just A Dad From Akron storefront - the place was packed ALL DAY with amazing people showing support. We are so proud and inspired by your journey, keep being a pillar in our community - we even got a special visit from Judge Joy Malek Oldfield and Dr. Labor

Today one of our alumni Kenny Lambert will be celebrating 5 years of the storefront Just A Dad From Akron - stop out between 12-7 to show some support! The earlier the better, It’s going to be busy and there are some great drops

This Friday we will be at the “A Walk In Their Shoes” event put on by Compass North Church - this is a great event every year filled with positivity and hope!

Huge thank you to Akron Break Room for having us last night! Also a thank you to Just A Dad From Akron for all the help! We were smashing tvs and glass and getting covered in paint - Learning to have fun and enjoy ourselves in recovery is the key to keeping our new life! Thank you OneOhio Recovery Foundation for giving us the space to keep growing

A few of our alumni braved the freezing water for the Polar Bear jump representing Judge Joy Malek Oldfield - they had a blast while raising money for the Akron Foodbank 🥶

Wow!!!! What a beautiful night this was - our group was able to get together at the coffee house with the current Summit County Turning Point Program participants. This is what recovery is all about - learning to have fun, laugh and make meaningful connections while helping the next person. Thank you Megan Quinn and Anna Kathie Torday for all of your help with this event!
