COMMUNITY NEED:
“Share with the Lord’s people who are in need. Practice hospitality.” — Romans 12:13
As the temperatures begin to drop tomorrow, our hearts are drawn to those who have no warm place to rest. The Deuteronomy Project is in urgent need of blankets to share with our homeless brothers and sisters.
If you have any extra blankets around your home, new or gently used, they would be so grateful for your help. Every blanket represents comfort, dignity, and the love of Christ in a very real and tangible way.
Please reach out to Tonya K Rossiter, or message The Deuteronomy Project page if you’d like to donate or help distribute.
(You can also reach out to me personally, Tiffany, and I can help coordinate pick up/drop off)
Together, we can be the hands and feet of Jesus to those in need.
“If there is among you a poor man… you shall not harden your heart or shut your hand against your poor brother, but you shall open your hand to him.” — Deuteronomy 15:7–8
