Our Elders are getting into the Thanksgiving spirit with a little turkey call practice! They mimicked different turkey calls from a gobble to a yelp, while adding their own turkey movements to the mix. There’s nothing like laughter, friendly competition, and the joy of community to kick off the holiday season. We’re so thankful for the smiles, stories, and traditions that fill our halls this time of year.

🏀 A Dream Come True for James!

James had one unforgettable night at the Battle of the Bluegrass — cheering on his beloved UofL Cardinals as they brought home the victory at the YUM! Center!

His faith in the outcome never wavered, and his excitement lit up the arena. This incredible experience was made possible through the Signature Inspire Foundation, which helps turn dreams into reality for those we serve.

We were honored to surprise James with the big reveal — and seeing his joy was the true win of the night. ❤️

We held our annual Hall of Fame ceremony, honoring the accomplishments of elders and stakeholders. Our inductees were Loretta Leady, Christine Huff, Priscilla Riddle, and Carla and Tim Norris. Thank you to Bro. Michael Cooper and his family for helping make this ceremony more remarkable with the special music programs. Congratulations again to all our inductees and their families.!

The Clinton County Middle School Beta Club came to join us for a bingo game. Elders enjoyed playing bingo with the students and talking with each of them. Thank you Ms. Amanda Mills and the Beta Club for coming to visit with us again, we really enjoyed spending time with you all again!

Our residents had a beautiful evening out on Friday enjoying the Foothills Festival Parade! The smiles were even brighter thanks to the delicious ice cream from Kim's Tastee Foods - a huge thank-you to Kim for the sweet treat that everyone absolutely loved!
We also want to give a big shout-out to our amazing staff, who always go above and beyond to make sure our residents get to be a part of our community events. Your dedication and care mean the world to us!

Congratulations to Mrs. Maryanne Bertram and Ms. Jessie Gunter, Restorative Aide for winning the pumpkin decorating contest! It was a very close competition, as only 2 votes kept it from being a tie. We also would like to congratulate Mrs. Shirley Hicks, Mrs. Stephanie Parrigan, and Ms. Rachel Allen for coming in 2nd place with their decorated pumpkin! Thank you to everyone whom participated and also everyone who voted on our page and in person.

It has been a busy and exciting week here at Clinton County Care and Rehabilitation Center!
We were thrilled to participate in the Career Fair at Clinton County High School, where we had the opportunity to speak with many bright students about the rewarding career paths available in healthcare.
Our team also joined the fun at the local Pumpkin Walk, where our Popcorn Squad handed out delicious popcorn to visitors. Our resident, James, shared that he had a wonderful time seeing all the children enjoy the festivities!
To wrap up the week, we were honored to accompany Ms. Elsie Brummett, a breast cancer survivor, to the Breast Cancer Luncheon, where each survivor was celebrated and recognized. It was truly a privilege to share in such a meaningful event.
We're grateful for the opportunities to stay connected with our community and to celebrate special moments that make Clinton County Care and Rehab such a wonderful place to live and work!
