My goal is to help clients discover what works best in their individual situations to feel in control of their lives and “back on track.” In many cases this can be accomplished through a solution-oriented counseling approach, with warmth and respect for clients as unique individuals. Clients often examine and make choices regarding new ways of thinking about themselves, others and the world. I regularly use cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to assist my clients, and offer eye-movement desensitization reprocessing (EMDR) therapy to clients seeking to resolve trauma.
